Brief insight into my portfolio and how I'm approaching 2026

I thought I'd write a few thoughts on my portfolio and why I hold these positions.

Basically:

I don't try to time the market or rebalance every week. It's more important for me to understand what I'm holding and why, so that I can relax during weaker phases.

$IWDA (+0,05%) MSCI World

My foundation. Gives me stability and takes the pressure off having to solve everything via individual stocks.

$NVDA (+0,4%)
$AMD (+0,31%) NVIDIA & AMD

Clear focus on AI and computing power. High valuation, but also real demand and massive cash flows. Fluctuates strongly, but is a deliberate part of my portfolio.

$PATH (+0,5%) UiPath

Higher risk, but also high optionality. Automation is still a long way off. Small position that can grow.

$ILMN (+0,37%) Illumina

Heavily penalized, a lot of uncertainty, but still extremely relevant in technological terms. For me, a classic turnaround bet with patience and therefore higher weighting.

$ALB (-0,21%) Albemarle

Cyclical, unloved, which is precisely why it is interesting. Lithium will not disappear, even if the market feels otherwise.

$TTWO (+0,29%) Take-Two Interactive

GTA 6 is priced in.

The only question is how. Plan to hold the position tactically rather than forever.

$NOVO B (+2,31%) Novo Nordisk

Quality. Strong growth, huge market, clear market leadership.

$ADBE (+0,09%) Adobe

Market leader, recurring revenue, AI integration. Not a hype play, but a solid long-term business.

My plan for 2026:

Continue to invest monthly

Don't put everything into shares straight away

Use setbacks

don't sell anything just because it gets uncomfortable!

I realize that this is not a perfect portfolio.

But it's my system and I sleep soundly with it.

I would also be very happy to hear any thoughts or questions :)

I would be interested:

How are you positioned in 2026?

More defensive, more risk or just carry on as before?

Have a nice day!

Welcome to the active community. Apart from $NOVO B, I think your portfolio is good. I think there are more interesting stocks with more potential in the pharmaceutical sector. But that is a matter of taste and I only judge the individual stocks. I have no idea about ETFs.
Otherwise, I'll carry on as before. There's no reason to change anything.

@Multibagger I actually just bought Novo yesterday.
I'll see what it gives me first.
Thanks for the words!

@Multibagger why do you think $NOVO B is that bad?

@Catpitalist I didn't say it was bad. But I believe that $LLY, for example, will perform better because they are much more broadly based. I also see $MRK further ahead, just to take the big ones. There are many small caps in the pharma/biotech sector. But of course there is also a lot more risk.
The margins at $NOVO B are falling, and whether this can be offset by higher sales is written in the stars. So far, the pill has only been approved in the USA. There is a threat of trouble from Greenland
Other players are entering the market, such as $GPCR. Studies to date have shown greater efficacy and fewer side effects. $NOVO B is only represented in the diabetes market. It is large, but also increasingly competitive.

I would say a solid basis 👍🏻 I may combine my ETF positions in an AllWorld/ACWI and would like to realize larger gains more often - I've had to watch them melt away too often 😕 Otherwise, we'll continue as before in the new year.

@ChrisBizz Very good train of thought.
Yes, I had already noticed that you don't realize profits regularly and that they can go down very quickly.
But I don't have any problems with things like volatility and try to keep my focus.

Nice portfolio, but try not to have so many "piss posis", everything under 1k invest will be a pain in the ass after the training but no longer attractive to buy

(trust me I've been through this)

$4519 eg... have only invested 2x500 and am now worth 1600€ but want to have more money in it but no attractive opportunities so far. So everything under 500€ investment is in any case also negligible in return especially so big techs like $AMD or also ne $NOVO B

Then rather 1-2k in e.g. $NOVO B and fill the depot piece by piece, but have a strong overweighting at the beginning, your income/savings rate moves more value in the depot than your investments anyway, so that's not so wild

@Investingyoung all good.
Everything you see there has been carefully considered and is part of the strategy.
None of these positions are too small, they are deliberate.
I've also been through this for a long time where I had too many random positions with real piss amounts like 50-150€.
But in the end it's all a matter of interpretation.
Everything has its priority at certain times :)

Weight your ETF even higher, this will take the bad fluctuations caused by individual stocks out of the portfolio.

Otherwise... keep going!

@Metis yes I will do that in time thanks for the confirmation.
I'm running a savings plan on it anyway so I'm concentrating more on individual shares at the moment

@Simon_325 Very good! Then I have nothing more to say. 😅
