Why now?

@jkb92 because the Chinese EM will always stay the same, and in the meantime I've discovered a new opportunity...

@SAUgut777 What is the Chinese EM?

@jkb92 You know that perfectly well 😉

@SAUgut777 Then I wouldn't have asked. I'm guessing "emerging market," but then I don't understand the context.

@jkb92 The fact is that Chinese stocks will never be major growth stories, even though CATL has been on a good run since its IPO.

I also needed some cash to top up my position in $AII a bit.

Wolfram is an interesting play, and if the ramp-up of the mine in South Korea goes relatively smoothly and leads to profitability, I believe the stock is due for a complete revaluation.

That doesn’t mean I no longer believe in CATL’s story; I’ve just pulled out a small portion of my original investment.

@SAUgut777 I see it a little differently—for example, there are also Chinese stocks that are solid long-term performers, such as $700, and $1211 is still in an overall uptrend (in its local currency). $1810 has delivered very good returns in the past, and I’m convinced it will continue to do so. Of course, I also understand the rationale behind the portfolio rebalancing.
