A good day to continue investing in Hormel

$HRL (+4,3%) meanwhile 2500 shares🙈. I am still convinced of Hormel Foods, the turnaround is coming... High dividend yield, safe for decades!!!!

I have the impression that food manufacturers are not particularly popular on the market at the moment. I just don't know why. People are actually always eating and these companies should actually be a good choice, especially in turbulent times. 🤔

@jkb92 I actually think that's one of the (main) reasons. I'll post something else about this in a moment. As a dividend investor, I would actually find investing in food manufacturers quite nice - even though I'm not invested in the sector at the moment.

@NichtRelevant I am interested in @jkb92 in terms of dividends, but if the premium sector lacks a certain pricing power, it will be difficult at the moment. In my view, the inflationary tendencies have not yet been fully priced in. And if consumers have to switch to cheaper private labels because their wallets are getting emptier and emptier, this could lead to some not-so-nice surprises. I opened an initial position in this sector at $NOMD, partly because of the dividend. But at the moment I'm wary of adding to my position here

@Dividendenopi I've already seen the $NOMD position in your portfolio 😉. I think you made a good pick within the industry - I've just posted something in the general feed with a few example companies - $NOMD is one of the best.

@NichtRelevant generally dividend stocks... one of the biggest factors is Treasury yields, where there are higher interest rates with less risk than in the current equity market.

I notice that you like to buy long term/strong dividend payers in drawdown. Take a look at $HD, $PAYX, $ADP.
