Delcath Systems - Niche player with great potential 📈✅

Thank you very much @Shiya who has made a very nice analysis of this. I will not present the company again, just read Shiya's contribution!

I've just had another look at what the analysts are forecasting and I'm really impressed...

Even the lowest price target is far above the current price!

I'm not @Tenbagger2024 but I'll take the liberty of saying what I think of the company:

Delcath Systems addresses a clearly defined, medically relevant market with its specialized oncology platform. I find the combination of regulatory progress, a clear clinical niche and the potential for scalable sales really interesting. I don't "yet" have a share like this in my portfolio. If commercialization proceeds as planned, I see an interesting growth story here with an attractive risk/reward profile.
However, the problem or concern for me remains, as is the case with health and pharmaceutical companies, that if a study or treatment is not successful, this can absolutely depress the share price. So it's not a no brainer or a guarantee (even if you don't have this guarantee with any company in the world) that the company will be successful in the future, even if the forecasts and analyst assessments are initially very positive and bullish.
Nevertheless, I am also planning to invest in the near future.

The risk with regulation is there of course, but its main driver for the next few years is already approved as far as I understand, right?

Very good presentation. You're slowly making me redundant 🙈. At first glance, the company looks really good. Of course, it has the risk of the biotechnology sector. As recently seen with Corcept. $CORT. Very small in terms of market capitalization and therefore also a takeover fantasy

But do you think the risk for a BioNTech company is really that great, because they've actually already had the therapy approved or this filter...? As far as I understand it, the FDA has approved it, or could they take it back?

Corcept fell by more than 50% last week simply because the FDA requested further documentation on a drug. However, the company is in a solid position and already has drugs on the market. And studies are still ongoing. Nevertheless, such a price loss. But I don't want to scare you now. Just to show you the risk. But of course the chances of success are also very high

You're probably right. I really need an intern. I would be happy to receive applications. But as an investor, I always like positive news. And by the time we small investors receive the negative news, the child has already fallen into the well anyway. And then reacting would often be wrong anyway. So it always helps to pray a lot. 🙈

If buying shares based on analysts' estimates and a few predictions were successful, I could show you 10 more shares that meet these criteria.
In my opinion, you shouldn't rely on them and should at least take a look at how the analysts arrive at such price targets and how likely it is that the company's pipeline will come through.
In the biotech sector, if you have no idea, which I assume is the case for 99.9% of people here on the platform including me, you can also bet your money on red or black in the casino, because getting a hit there is significantly higher than hitting any X complicated biotech that increases tenfold.
