Definitely a cool option—0.07 TER and includes small-cap stocks. It should be available in both dividend-paying and reinvestment versions.

@_Happy_Life_ We won't know until 2027 whether the 0.07% TER is "real" or whether it will worsen due to an unfavorable tracking error.
Nevertheless, it's an interesting ETF for the core of the portfolio.

@_Happy_Life_ I have the MSCI World ACWI in my portfolio. Do you think it would be a good idea to rebalance it?

@DividendenWeiser if necessary, build up an additional position

@DividendenWeiser Jo would just leave the current one alone and run the savings plans through a new one. Because whether you switch from 8.5k to 10k or from a 0.2 TER to a 0.07 TER won't make much of a difference in terms of performance and costs. I won’t be rebalancing my current All World fund either; I’ll just start contributing to the new one.

@_Happy_Life_ I'm just thinking about it—I have a rule at work about independence that's pretty annoying. Unfortunately, I can't invest the way I'd like to without it getting too complicated.

He won't make any changes to my existing portfolio. But he's interesting for the retirement portfolio, which is set to kick off this special year.

Unless that's exactly why Vanguard brought him in.

@GoDividend That was exactly my first thought.

Does anyone have the ISIN for the distributing entity?

@MoneyISnotREAL It's funny that you can't find anything on the Vanguard website.

@nitroxx Give it a few days. I’ll take a closer look at the distribution version and will probably adjust my savings plan and purchases accordingly.

It’s interesting that they offer this ETF at such a low cost, but their flagship funds— $VWRL and $VWCE —are more expensive.

@MoneyISnotREAL That’s just the way things go—new ETFs are usually cheaper. I think we have to give them credit for that, since they’ve already managed to lower the TER a few times; just take a look at those old iShares—they’re even more expensive.

I don't think it matters much whether it's 0.07 or 0.14, and as Vanguard itself says, the All Cap is meant to be a complement to the VWRL.

@MoneyISnotREAL Keep in mind that there are also times when the MSCI outperforms the FTSE; in other words, maximum diversification is no guarantee of the best performance.

@nitroxx MSCI and FTSE are index providers, not products :)
@nitroxx 0.07 or 0.14 are already incredibly low prices. Still, you can be sure of the costs 😅

The All Cap index essentially includes the FTSE All World.

The question is which one will perform better in the end. Are you just looking at returns, or should we consider the Sharpe ratio—and over what time period? ;-)
Anyone who holds the FTSE All World already has a very diversified portfolio. I find it interesting and think I’ll add it to my portfolio or switch my savings plan to it.
