Reached a new level 📶

Let's see how long it lasts... ⏳

My portfolio is currently benefiting from sector rotation, since I have mostly defensive stocks in my portfolio. It seems to me that my companies are drawing more attention from the market, while the enthusiasm surrounding AI is is waning.

Personally, I believe it won’t be long before the bubble bursts. Sooner or later, it’ll happen. Of course, I could be wrong. And I probably am.

Still, I’m keeping a cool head and not getting my hopes up too high. At the end of the day, what matters to me is that my companies are in good financial and that they pay dividends can continue to increase year after year.

With the dividends received and the realized gains , my YTD performance currently stands at around 17%.

As a dividend investor.

What do you think? Is sector rotation underway? Or is this all just an illusion?

Thanks, I totally agree. The big players are also shifting their portfolios toward defensive and dividend stocks.

@Raketentoni Defensive stocks and sectors that had previously underperformed, such as software and China.

@Raketentoni Have you invested in software? And I thought PG wasn't your thing.

@capital_captain_2693 I'm still looking for a second software company to work with alongside ServiceNow. Right now, Wolters Kluwer and Atoss Software are on my shortlist.

@capital_captain_2693 It's not exactly software, but I find $ADP and $PAYX interesting.

@jkb92 I'm approaching $Acn with a great deal of caution... I suspect the price will fall further until it reaches the last low

How did you build such a portfolio at 24?

@Centurion10 A quick summary: I started investing in crypto at 18 by accident. That’s how it all began. Since I had started an apprenticeship at 15, I decided to invest a huge portion of my salary into crypto and stocks. Radical

I’ve read Rich Dad Poor Dad, and the idea of “pay yourself first, then everyone else” resonated with me so deeply that it has remained my number one financial principle to this day.

@PoorDad Congrats! So you’ve been invested for nearly 9 years if I’m not mistaken? That’s truly impressive. Sadly we don’t have apprenticeships in Belgium, but that’s a great way to start building capital early on in life. Very inspiring 👏

@Centurion10 I’ve been investing for six years, including my time in crypto, and I’ve been working since I was 15 years old. Before 18, I simply saved my money. And Thank you!

@Wojtek What work did you exactly? I presume you had a main one and 3 others on the side? How much did you manage to save over that period, since you’ve mentioned you got lucky with crypto?

I see it the same way you do.

@MrKurt89 You've heard that several times a year so far, but there was never really any truth to it.
imagem de perfil
Well then, I guess we'll be able to buy tech stocks again soon. Countercyclical and all that.

I see it exactly the same way you do. I'm also making a lot of money right now. I had a few fundamental plays in there (Rio Tinto, BHP, Novo, etc.), and they're finally back in the spotlight.
