Portfolio Streamlining

I've been thinking for a while now about selling all my individual stocks and just continuing to invest in my three ETFs ($IWDA (+0,83%) , $VHYL (-0,01%) , $TDIV (+0,72%) ) in order to be in a more stable position for the future. Most of my holdings are already included in at least one of the three ETFs anyway. Today I took the next step and $MRK (+1,25%) , $6501 (+1,99%) and $WUW (+1,05%) sold off to increase my position in $VHYL (-0,01%) . In the long term (> 5 years), this strategy should pay off.

I can understand that; I've already rebalanced 25 positions in ETFs this year, and Merck is also one of my dividend ETF candidates.

@nitroxx Same here... I used to only have individual stocks, but now I realize that an ETF portfolio is just as important. MSCI ACWI, iMi ACC, and FTSE High Dividend in a 65-to-35 ratio.

I can totally understand your decision. I've decided to hold on to a few stocks myself, but they should mostly be "no-brainers"—high-quality stocks with a moat—and make up no more than 30% of my portfolio.
