Starting immediately, I'm setting up a monthly investment plan in the NASDAQ-100 ($XNAS (+0,74%) ).
As a working student, approximately 50% of my net salary goes into that.
So far, I haven’t been saving anything else on a regular basis, so this is my first real savings plan.
Why the NASDAQ-100, of all things?
- My previous investments (VC + crypto (mainly $ETH (+0,42%) )) are extremely risky and volatile.
- The NASDAQ-100 finally gives me a somewhat more stable, yet still high-growth foundation.
- It’s more volatile than the S&P 500, but historically it’s also delivered significantly higher returns.
What do you think about this?
Would you have gone with the S&P 500 instead, or do you think the NASDAQ-100 is a good choice for a first savings plan?
