Strategy in uncertain times - annual savings plan adjustment

I'm due to make an annual adjustment to my savings plans.

I have the following picture in mind:

Category
ETFs
Monthly share (total: 630 €)

1) Global broad (Core)

$VWRL (+0,35 %) 320 € (~51 %) - Core

→ Very good for long-term growth

2) Dividend (Value/Defensive)

$VHYL (+0,29 %)
$EUHD (+0,72 %) 90 € (~14 %)

→ Two targeted building blocks, stable cash flow

3) Technology (Growth)

$XNAS (+0,35 %)
$XNGI (+0,12 %) 100 € (~16 %)

→ ensure growth, without overweighting

4) Regional addition

$MEUD (+0,85 %)
$WSML (+0,57 %)
$IEEM (-0,32 %) 80 € (~13 %)

→ improves diversification

5) Commodities/tangible assets

$WGLD (-1,81 %) 40 € (~6 %)

→ better balance with defensive character

What do you think?

Feedback & suggestions for readjustment are welcome =)

@Stullen-Portfolio Thank you for this incredibly valuable contribution 💪🏼💪🏼

As usual with kings, a number of advisors and ministers are consulted and advice is sought before a hierarchical decision is made 👑

Well, you are now asking others for a strategy. No offense, but your previous portfolio doesn't show any strategy at all (at least for me).

Now you mention Europe and EM and talk about increasing diversification in this context. However, you fail to realize that you are already invested in all companies from these two ETFs (through the All-World). So you are not increasing diversification, but rather achieving a different, personal weighting. You can do that. You should perhaps just determine what weighting you want to achieve and when and with what events in global politics you review this again.

At the same time, you are considering investing or continuing to invest in more focused ETFs (due to growth). However, these have >80 or >90 percent US exposure. So that would run counter to the idea I had before... These are all things I mean... 😎

...by the way, with the gold ETF I would definitely check whether it falls under the tax exemption after a holding period of one year. I suspect not. That would be an important prerequisite for me. So perhaps it would be better to check and, if necessary, change to another one where you have the important tax exemption.

@Stullen-Portfolio Thank you for the critical view and the food for thought 💡
Do you have any specific suggestions for improvement for me?

Before I put together my personal portfolio according to my own standards, reading Kommer definitely helped me a lot and opened my eyes on many points. If you have not yet been active in this direction, that would be my priority 1 recommendation. Everything else afterwards and individually. It is extremely important to be satisfied with your own investment and to understand that it really is individual and personal. The situation, the boundary conditions as well as your own psyche and mentality etc. must be taken into account.

[However, this is not written in Kommer, but is my way of thinking, which is perhaps influenced by Kommer]

@theGreatShark I am not really a fan of sector ETFs anymore..
image de profil
@ETFKing what are you focused on? Im mostly looking at distributing etfs. $XAIX is my only sector etf. but with the what happened in the news recently its the only etf that stayed strong

Currently switching my portfolio more towards Dividend-ETFs with a stable core portfolio and some interesting higher dividend ETFs in addition..
Tech sector is part of my portfolio through $XNAS & $XNGI, I stopped investing in $IUIT

Somewhat my same strategy.. I've positioned myself with distributing etfs that pay each month to have a steady cash flow to better reinvest where needed.

@ETFKing ive taken a look at some etfs you suggested.. I want to find some quality distributing etfs focused in China Korea Japan
