Vonovia ($VNA (-2,92 %)) - The real estate group intends to use a capital increase of 8 billion euros to finance and finally complete its takeover of Deutsche Wohnen ($DWNI (+0,09 %)) and finally complete it. In addition to the capital increase, the real estate company is selling 15,000 apartments in Berlin to the public sector for around €2.46 billion.

This would bring the market capitalization to over $9 trillion.
