Stock search for long-term portfolio
Hello dear people!
I am looking for new and interesting stocks for my long-term portfolio and would like to build up a few new positions.
They should be growth stocks with high quality, away from the big tech stocks.
In addition, they should be rather cheap/fairly valued.
Dividends are not a priority for my investment strategy, so classic defensive dividend stocks would not be an option for me.
Either purchase in tranches or as a monthly savings plan.
Thought I'd ask the great GQ community for advice, maybe you can give me a few new ideas or some inspiration and tell me your favorites 💡
I'm looking forward to your answers/comments 🤗

Rio - Buy The Dip 😏
After $RIO (+0,37 %)
$RIO (+4,41 %)
$RIO (+0,3 %) has been falling for a few days, I have now more than doubled my shares. For me as a long-term investor, this is a decision I can live with very well. I was also able to adjust my buy-in downwards 😌
Rio is now the largest single share $1211 (-1,48 %) the largest single share in my portfolio.

Short the dollar now? 💸❌
Here are some thoughts on the shortening of the dollar:
Where does the dollar currently stand?
-> still historically high, but!
Current bias of the market:
-> shorting the dollar is therefore not
original idea (crowded trade)
Some catalysts for a dollar reversal:
> Trade surplus and financing abroad decrease
(Example: remittances to Mexico fall to a historic low)
-> growing "dollar shortage
> US dollar has decoupled itself from the rise in interest rates in the short term. This will become relevant in due course (more on this in the conclusion).
(shown is the expected interest rate differential of the USA compared to the other G10 countries - over the next 2 years)
Conclusion/opinion: Even if the US dollar has lost its "safe haven" status in the eyes of some investors, despite its historically high valuation, I believe we will see a return to "dollar safety" with the next full-on crisis in another country, especially EM.
It has to be said that I am personally bearish on the dollar in the long term (10+ years), but it is easy to nuke your account when shorting.
I also don't think hedging is necessary for 99% of the community, as it also requires the right sizing, for example - not to mention that I think it only makes sense from a portfolio size of mid 6-digit to 7-digit range.

I fear that this will put a lot of pressure on BYD's share price if they can no longer pass on the gigantic debts to their suppliers.
You had to know this was coming, so why on earth did you do a complex 3:1 split with partial bonus shares? A rogue who thinks evil!

De Lijn orders 290 electric buses from BYD, Iveco and VDL
The Belgian public transport company De Lijn has awarded contracts for a total of 290 new electric buses to BYD, Iveco and VDL. The largest contract was awarded to the manufacturer BYD with 140 e-buses. With additional funding from the government, De Lijn plans to order 500 more e-buses this year.
The contract now awarded to the three manufacturers is worth 185 million euros and contributes to De Lijn's goal of achieving an emission-free fleet by 2035. The first electric buses from the order that has now been announced are to be delivered by the end of 2026. According to the daily newspaper "De Tijd", 140 12-metre-long solo buses alone have been ordered from BYD. This is likely to be another order from the framework agreement between De Lijn and BYD for the delivery of up to 500 electric buses agreed at the end of 2023. Iveco and VDL are also to supply 100 and 50 articulated electric buses respectively.
