It was certainly a very red week

It was certainly a very rough week, but the portfolio had reached a new all-time high just 11 days ago. Just normal volatility.

Year-to-date performance is +30% overall, but it was already at +40% 11 days ago. How did the week and the year go for you so far? $AMD (+1,5 %)

Congrats on your portfolio! 🚀

I’m (unfortunately) familiar with weeks like that, too. Not with tech stocks, but with mining stocks. In the middle of the year, during the gold/silver crash, I suddenly lost 300k in just two weeks. So yeah, I got a little nervous anyway 😅.

Tell me, how has your portfolio performed overall over the last 5 years? You’re really into tech stocks, right? That must have been a real roller coaster ride! 👍🏼

So far this year, I’ve “only” been able to invest around 7,000 francs. But with my November paycheck, I’ll get my 13th-month bonus, which will let me invest another 5k to 6k all at once. In terms of performance, I’m up about 13% since the beginning of the year. It’s not exactly mind-blowing, but it’s better than being in the red 😅

Únicamente -2,6k, ésta misma semana. Creo recordar es la máxima pérdida semanal para mí pequeña cartera.
Tengo casi un 45% de protección en $XEON, por lo que mis caídas son mucho menores a lo habitual (también mis semanas de beneficio, por supuesto)
