I think it's never too early to get to grips with the capital market - and that's also true for my son, who will soon be five years old. In a world where financial education is often neglected, I want to give him a feel for long-term investing at an early age.

The basis of his portfolio is a classic MSCI World ETF, which I save with a monthly savings plan of €100. This gives him broad diversification right from the start and allows him to benefit from the long-term growth of the global economy.

I also invest in individual shares that have a direct link to his everyday life and make it easier for him to enter the stock market world. These include:

- $MCD (+6,19 %) (McDonald's) - A company that almost every child knows and has a strong global presence.

- $CAT (-7,26 %) (Caterpillar) - As a little excavator fan, this is a must in his portfolio.

- $TNIE (+1,04 %) (Tonies SE) - He uses the Toniebox every day, so why not invest in the company too?

- $MAT (+2,54 %) (Mattel) - With strong brands such as Hot Wheels and Fisher-Price, a company that supplies many childhood products.

I'm less interested in short-term profits than in teaching him through play that companies he comes into contact with every day can also be traded on the stock market. In the long term, he can experience how investments grow - and hopefully learn to appreciate the value of long-term thinking and sound investments.

New Barbie movie grosses a billion dollars 🤑

The new Barbie movie has been out for just under 2 weeks now and has already grossed a billion dollars! In the USA alone, tickets worth 459 million dollars have been sold. This means that the film has even exceeded the expectations of Warner Bros. Discovery's distribution bosses. The positive response is also reflected in the development of the $WBD Stock, which has risen by almost 10% in the last week. 📈 So it turns out that not only. $MAT (+2,54 %), but also Warner Bros. Discovery are already benefiting from the Barbie movie. I am curious which other company will still profit from the Barbie hype. Did you expect these sales figures? And what do you think, which stock will still profit from the Barbie hype?

These stocks could profit from the Barbie hype

You've probably noticed the hype surrounding the new Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. In the last few weeks, there has been a lot of publicity! Today is the premiere of the film in Germany and tomorrow the film starts in the US. I am sure that the film will not only make the box office ring, but also some stocks will benefit from the Barbie hype. The $MAT (+2,54 %) share, manufacturer of the Barbie doll, is already within the last month with nearly 15% in the plus and is still positively evaluated by experts. The film comes today in the distribution of Warner Bros, so could also the $WBD Share from the hype profit. Retailers such as. $GPS (+7,72 %), $CROX (+4,75 %) and $KSS (+5,52 %) are also jumping on the Barbie bandwagon, benefiting from licensing deals with the toymaker. Even the meme share of the movie theater operator $AMC could gain new momentum from the Barbie hype. Unfortunately, nothing is really known about the film yet, so it remains exciting to see whether the film will meet the expectations of moviegoers and whether the shares will benefit from the hype in the long term.

Are you going to see the new Barbie movie? Do you think that the Barbie movie will actually have a positive impact on the stocks mentioned and can profit from the hype? Or are you rather skeptical?
