The Private segment deals with businesses conducted with individuals and from joint accounts regulated by the BPERPrivate service. The Corporate segment transacts with public administrations, non-financial and non-resident companies, and non-financial partnerships and companies. The Large Corporate segment also conducts business with non-financial partnerships and companies with high turnovers. The Finance segment derives its operations from treasury activities, investment portfolio management, and access to financial markets and specialist operational support for the commercial network. The Corporate Center focuses on the corporate governance of the company, strategic decisions and results, and from activities directly connected to other areas of the business. The Other segment specializes in the non-banking companies of the group. BPER Banca was founded in 1867 and is headquartered in Modena, Italy.
