Vonovia ($VNA (+0.26%)) - The real estate group intends to use a capital increase of 8 billion euros to finance and finally complete its takeover of Deutsche Wohnen ($DWNI (-0.22%)) and finally complete it. In addition to the capital increase, the real estate company is selling 15,000 apartments in Berlin to the public sector for around €2.46 billion.

Inflation - The German Bundesbank believes it is possible that inflation will rise to as high as 6% by the end of November. In October, the percentage rate of inflation was 4.6%. The central bank believes the reason for a possible jump is the temporary reduction in value-added tax due to the pandemic. Inflation is then expected to gradually decline again from 2022.

Bitcoin ($BTC (+0.77%)) - Cathie Wood, CEO of investment firm Ark Invest, believes that the value of the cryptocurrency can rise to as much as $500,000 within the next 5 years, provided institutional investors get on board with Bitcoin and dedicate at least 5% of their portfolios to the digital currency. This would bring the market capitalization to over $9 trillion.
