21 billion dollar contract - Meta signs contract with CoreWeave for AI cloud infrastructure

Meta signs $21 billion contract with $CRWV (+10.63%) CoreWeave. This means that the big AI hyperscalers and research companies are investing ever larger sums to secure their AI infrastructure.

"Meta has committed to spending an additional $21 billion on AI cloud infrastructure from CoreWeavewhich comes on top of a prior arrangement of $14.2 billion, as the social media company continues to ramp up its investments in artificial intelligence."

In my opinion, this is the beginning, and we will see a number of deals this year and in the coming years, which will probably involve even higher volumes:

Wow, from Asset Light to Asset Heavy! Mag7 will never be the same again. Up to now there were hardly any assets but mega cash flow. The B&H investor can only hope that these investments can also be monitized🤔

@TomTurboInvest with a company like Google, I'm very sure that they will be able to monetize their ki spend with Agentic-AI or Gemini! I wouldn't be so sure about Meta - but what would you do if you were in their shoes?
You've had stable cash flow for years - high billion dollar contributions, and now there's a new, technological achievement that is capital intensive. Not being part of it is simply not an option - at least for some...

@Klein-Anleger At the moment, it looks like those who weren't there will end up laughing. Apple, for example, is currently giving me Toyota vibes. At the beginning, everyone makes fun of you because you supposedly missed out on some trend. Later, they all drive into the wall and the one who stayed calm is now more successful than ever.

@Klein-Anleger That's the dilemma: on the one hand, everyone is under pressure not to miss out on a trend, but on the other hand, there is a risk that the money will be sunk. The fact is that for those who are now investing fully, the old valuation scheme no longer applies. I am curious to see where the prices will settle. However, the days of eternal and further ATHs could be over.

@TomTurboInvest most ETF investors won't like that so much - the problem is that these companies are real heavyweights in the indices...
