Hello everyone,

I'm a little late with my Rewind - but better late than never.

The new year 2024 has already started and it's time for me to look back on the performance of 2023.

I hardly invested in the portfolio last year, as I traveled a lot and invested my money in other assets.

  • Because on bad days, I like to have a glass of wine! :)

First of all, "investments" that have already been made for this year:

I have a trip to America coming up soon, directly followed by my participation in the Paris Marathon 2024.

I used the past year primarily to do some restructuring.

I have left the depot:

  • SAP $SAP (-0.52%) with a 30% gain (unfortunately just before they broke out and would now be up over 60%...)
  • Cloudflare $NET (-0.59%) with a slight single-digit price gain. However, we will keep an eye on the company in future and add to it again if necessary.
  • Meta $META (-0.49%) also up, here with 24% growth.

New additions to the portfolio:

Bayer $BAYN (-0.37%)

3M $MMM (+1.3%)

For me personally, both were punished too massively and have recovery potential! ^^

Both with the plan to add in the medium term! However, we will first wait for the short-term trend and then add if necessary.

Existing positions were further expanded.

Why the restructuring?

I wanted to gear my portfolio a little more towards dividends so that the tax-free allowance can finally be fully utilized!

Last year, I was able to achieve my self-imposed target of 300 euros net dividend through the Porsche IPO alone.

With a total of 745 euros, I clearly exceeded the target.

For this year, however, I am only aiming for 500 euros, as there will be no special dividend.

My top picks for this year are

IBM $IBM (-0.06%)

LVMH $MC (-0.8%)

L'Oreal $OR (-0.22%)

Sopra Steria $SOP (+4.89%)

3 of them are already in the portfolio, but all of them will be expanded!

I am waiting for a "favorable" entry point for Sopra Steria!

I will cover Big Tech with a Nasdaq ETF in order not to lose sight of the target of approx. 8-9 percent total return p.a. in addition to my "individual bets".

No positions are to leave the portfolio for the time being.

As planned, all of them are to be expanded bit by bit, as I am convinced of all of them.

However, I would like to get feedback from the community at this point!

With this in mind, I look forward to any feedback and wish everyone a great weekend! :)

Why did you sell Cloudflare? No longer convinced by the company?

@Krush82 Depends on the investment horizon....Long-term - Definitely. Medium-term - They are also solidly positioned. In the short term, I withdrew the money because I found other opportunities more interesting. I thought Bayer/IBM/Loreal had higher chances. And a month later, that hasn't changed! :) I'm still keeping an eye on them, but I'm not expecting any major growth in 2024 - rather another consolidation in the data security sector. That's when I'll get back in. An attempt, so to speak, against the adage Time in the market beats timing the market.

@Shareholder then good luck. I'm holding my position and continuing to build up via a savings plan and will be making the next 35% ;-)

@Krush82 Thank you very much! You too. You can't lose with this position! :)

@Krush82 he certainly regrets today 😂
profile image
@VermoegenMitAktien Exactly, the next 35% could actually come sooner than I thought :-)
profile image
@Krush82 whenever a stock is recommended by you then it performs😂 give us a few more suggestions where you see potential 😂

@Krush82 Do you think it's still worth getting into Cloudflare as well as Crowdstrike Holdings? Cloudflare's figures for next year have already been teased, but in general I didn't find them that outstanding
profile image
@VermoegenMitAktien hahaha, I don't make any recommendations. At most, I use figures to say why I think company A is better than company B :-)

@VermoegenMitAktien After the sharp rise in Cloudflare, I would say that the annual performance has already been anticipated and that the share price will only rise again if there are really positive earnings surprises. I don't know what will happen with Crowdstrike, but I will remain invested and keep the savings plan running. We'll know more after the earnings

@VermoegenMitAktien
Not really.
I rather regret the sell of Meta and especially SAP🙈🫨

At least IBM has worked out as expected....The French can at least be bought at a reasonable price😁😅

Why take advantage of the tax-free allowance via dividends? Partial sales have the same effect without tax disadvantages as withholding tax on foreign dividends.
profile image
@Aktienmasseur I would like to keep all my shares. I am an advocate of the buy and hold strategy! :)
profile image
@Shareholder How did you hear about Sopra? Are you also an employee?
profile image
@BuyHoldCheckSell haha something like that. I am a working student at a subsidiary - Sopra Financial Technology in Nuremberg and have already had the opportunity to "get a taste" of the rest of the group. Are you employed by Sopra? ^^
profile image
@Shareholder Yes, I work at Sopra there in the public sector and am assigned to the Rhineland location. I did my best this month and generated a lot of sales. Now everyone buy the shares.
