Ciao Gucci

I have decided to sell my $KER (+4.43%) -shares. The position has been clearly in the red for some time and I am no longer convinced by the fundamental development. The problems at Gucci in particular are weighing on the outlook and make $KER (+4.43%) currently more of a risky turnaround bet. Instead of tying up capital in an unclear recovery, I would like to deploy it more efficiently. My focus is now on stocks with more stable fundamentals and better prospects: value and dividend stocks such as $ALV (+0%) or $ZURN (+0.06%) as well as growth stocks in areas such as cloud, cybersecurity or AI, such as $CRWD (-1.67%) . A global ETF such as $VWRL (-0.08%) remains interesting for broad hedging.

I am also finding it incredibly difficult to value the Kering position at the moment. On the one hand, the share has a lot of positive momentum at the moment and is recovering strongly from its losses. However, I am still deeply red with my position. On the other hand, the fundamental data does not look promising at the moment. I think I will wait for the next figures and then decide how to proceed. What do others think?

@BuyHoldCheckSell May I ask what percentage you are in the red?

@DividendenMieze -It is still 22%. It's getting lower every week. But after my last comment, I'm still no wiser. I'll let it continue for now until earnings.

@BuyHoldCheckSell I was also torn... Keep your fingers crossed that you come out of it green 😉 maybe it really will calm down. I still have Louis from the sector myself and I didn't want to take any more risks. Eyes closed and through!
Have I made a mistake or is $KER up +25% on a monthly basis? I assume that the luxury sector will definitely come back 👍 I am very confident about that

@fund_commander123 yes, but I see a turnaround and a price increase of more than 100% from the current point in time as very unlikely for Ker.

@DividendenMieze But now the share is really picking up speed!

@Vasili In my case, it was a portfolio corpse that has been bobbing around for far too long. I do a lot of day trading and quickly recouped the loss. I also got a tax correction on it 😉
