Change from $JEGP to $WINC

Hey.

The $JEGP just isn’t gaining any traction anymore. It does pay out pretty good monthly dividends, but the capital appreciation has been abysmal. I’ve switched 50% into the $WINC (-1.76%) . Since it will pay dividends monthly starting in September 2026 instead of quarterly, it’s the better option for me, even in terms of performance. Hope it stays that way (unfortunately, my crystal ball is broken).

Dividend-filled greetings from the North🍻

Well, maybe you've just traded one evil for another. I don't know.

@DonkeyInvestor Winc also trades futures. I don't really know what that means, but it sounds cool.🤔

We'll see if the trade was a good one. They have two completely different approaches.

I've actually been selling that one for a while now, but I'm happy with the $JEPQ

@Solitair Me too—I bought another 18 shares of $JEGP on October 6.

I've also had the JEGP for a short while now. It basically does what it's supposed to—it's a good addition to my portfolio. With the WINC, you're just adding the usual suspects to your portfolio—the ones you normally already have 2 or 3 times over in various ETFs anyway.

However, because of these options, it also recovers much more slowly during a bear market. There is no comparable situation yet.
