Opinion needed

I’m a new investor and still learning how to do it,

Firstly i was very risk averse so I decided to go just with etfs.

Now I’m thinking that I did a bad choice since I’ve lost some good opportunities. I’m 16 so the broker account is in my mom name and I didn’t want to sell the positions since they have already done some profits and we would need to fill them in the tax report. I’m thinking in only selling $RARE (+1.51%) .

Now I’m thinking in buy some individual stocks and would like to know your opinion in my portfolio and also in my thoughts.

I’ve studied a little of these stocks but would like to know how to do a more deep analysis, how should I do it?

I was thinking in $AMD (+1.43%) and $AMZN (+1.17%) primary but also in $AAPL (+0.33%)
$NVDA (+0.55%) for long term.

Also $CIFR (+6.92%) and $IREN (+7.68%) for the medium term.

If i can give you one advice, stay with your ETF's and dont sell them. You are 16 years old. A great age to start. Just hold them, DCA them and in 20 years you look back and be happy as a 16 year old.

@Danser Thank you for your advice!! I want do DCA but i tought that could also buy some individual stocks in the side, what you think about it?

@gmoney111 i'm thinking about it, but if it reaches a good point for profit taking i'd sell.
the company is waiting for a boom in which it can rise up to 500$ per share until 2027~30 from what I've researched, besides it's a company with great indicators and it's well established so it's "safer" than others like $IREN

@dbotelho_ I've practically done my analysis, there are some indicators that aren't very good but for the price the stock is at I think it's worth the risk.

Exactly, obviously it's very volatile considering the sector but the possible reward is 100% worth it in my opinion, if it were me I'd buy and set an alarm to let me know when to sell to avoid huge losses.

@tbotelho_ queria ver se havia uma correção pequena porque desde q comecei a analisar a nvidia ela subiu 15$, mas é ir fazendo um dca, acredito que num longo prazo mesmo com um crash a tendência de perda é pequena

@gmoney111 if it were me, I'd wait for it to go down a bit because it's in the ATH and then I'd do DCA

@tbotelho_ a subida deve continuar mais uns dias amanhã o fed deverá dar um corte nas taxas de juro e o mercado vai subir, mas sim esperarei por alguma correção
