Hello everyone!

Last week, I fully transferred my money from Revolut AutoInvest and used it to buy $VUSA (+1.03%) , keeping the funds in Revolut. I liked the auto-balancing and auto-investing feature, but I didn't find the selection of ETFs that the bot was buying optimal, so I decided to stop this experiment.

I also added 700 euros to my eToro account, where I bought $VTI (+1.24%) , and 200 euros to Revolut, where I bought $VUSA (+1.03%) . I still have some free cash left, which I'm not in a hurry to invest. I’ll probably wait a couple of weeks. I really like the idea of having 2-3 thousand euros as an emergency fund, so I might either invest more money or keep this cash for peace of mind.

I haven't done anything with my $BTC (+3.2%) and altcoins yet, although I agree with the commentators who think this is not the best strategy. At the moment, I realize that I can't afford to take this risk, but I still see potential in crypto right now and want to take advantage of potential growth to gain additional profit, which I will later direct into ETFs.

Last week, I received a comment suggesting that I should focus on dividends, but I completely disagree with that. Honestly, at 28, it’s better to focus on capital growth rather than dividends. Growth stocks usually bring higher returns because companies reinvest their earnings to expand rather than paying out dividends. Plus, while you’re young, it’s more important to build up your capital instead of focusing on income right now. Eventually, when your portfolio grows, you can always shift to dividend stocks if you want. But for now, it’s smarter to let your investments grow and take advantage of the potential for bigger gains.

I usually write my post in the morning, but today it’s coming in the evening (let's see how active things are!). YET.ANOTHER.WEEK. Time flies guys. Honestly, there’s something therapeutic about these weekly reports — feels like I’m keeping a journal. So, let’s get to it!

$BTC (+3.2%) and other crypto aren't doing too well. We've been below the 10/20 MA on the weekly chart for two weeks now, and the correlation with $SPY (+1.17%) is weak, which makes me a bit uneasy. I've still made VERY good profits on BTC and plan to hold some of it for 10+ years, but for now, I plan to get rid of all altcoins and keep only BTC, $ETH (+1.54%) , and maybe a couple more. As I mentioned in the comments, having a lot of coins in my portfolio is more about fun than serious investment. I don’t believe that buying shitcoins is a good long-term strategy — it could even hurt my path to FIRE, but hey, it’s fun, lol.

I bought 700 euros worth of $VTI (+1.24%) and invested 200 euros into my Revolut AutoInvest.

I submitted a request to withdraw funds from my Revolut AutoInvest account :) I plan to use that money to buy $SCHD .

Overall, it’s been an interesting week. I plan to make more purchases this week and am steadily working towards my first 100k goal.

Hello everyone!

Last week, I was fully focused on my job and didn't have much spare time. I've added 300 euros to my portfolio, bought $SPYD (+0.91%) , and added to my Revolut AutoInvest portfolio. In total, I've invested 600 euros this month. I was planning to add more this week, but my friend invited me to Cyprus, so I had to buy tickets and save some money for the trip. I feel a bit strange and uncomfortable, as I'm not really used to having free money and not investing it immediately.

I also don't add cash money from my bank account to my Getquin portfolio, so they're kind of uncounted. Maybe that's why I feel out of sorts (hello, ADHD). Besides this, everything is great.

As $BTC (+3.2%) rises, my main focus from now on is to invest in $SPYD (+0.91%), $VTI (+1.24%) , or $SCHD and grow these positions. I also want to buy more dividend stocks, but statistically speaking, it's not worth it, so I will stick to ETFs.

Hello everyone!

As I'm running towards my long-term goals (FIRE numbers) and trying to improve my consistency and discipline I thought that maybe it will be a good idea to start every week since this week with some thoughts on my goals, investment decisions and feelings.

First and foremost I'm waiting for my salary to arrive next week, then I will be able to buy some more shares. As everyone knows consistency is the key, so I hope I will be able to stack some more dollars. My goal has changed over couple of years as now I invest only around 20-40% of my salary compare to 70-80% before. My needs are growing and I think it's totally natural and understandable, so I don't push myself too much.

I don't want to invest more in crypto as I expect it to grow this year, but as I understand it we're in the middle of the bull-run and I was lucky enough to buy all of my crypto in 2022-2023.

What I want to buy is $VOO (+1.16%)
$SPYW (-0.46%)
$VTI (+1.24%) and maybe some single stocks (don't know which exactly tbh).

The main goal for this year is to cross 100k mark and sell mostly all of my crypto and reinvest this money in ETFs.

I hope I will be able to provide more info on my background story next week as I want this so-called blog to be some sort of a unique story of myself.

I've been asking myself a huge doubt for weeks:

The perfect allocation I want would be 40% $VTI (+1.24%) and 60% $VXUS ... 2 ETFs, covering the large, mid and small-cap market, low purchase commissions, very low management costs (0.05% on average) and assets divided into only two instruments.

The cons of this allocation are having American distribution ETFs that pay me dividends in $ taxed at 26% immediately (living in Italy).

Perhaps, the most suitable alternative for a European investor would be to purchase 4 ETFs which, applying the right %, more or less replicate the allocation of the two above, with higher but more efficient management costs for passive investments (34% $CSUS (+0.97%) , 40% $EXUS (-0.41%) , 16% $XMME (-1.94%) , 10% $WSML (+0.39%) ).

Having the possibility to purchase both ETFs domiciled in Europe and USA, what would you do?

Now if i look to retire at 65 (im 46) holding $VTI (+1.24%)

$VXUS as my long term holds and $ARCC (+1.62%) and $ZIM (-1.52%) for the see how it goes but if it stays in the red not to fussed stocks - anyone got suggestions on maybe what to change.

The two for fun ones (Zim and Arcc) Im not to fussed about and they are just loose change at the moment but maybe will drop more $$ in to them at a latter stage.

$ARCC (+1.62%) Only got 6 at the moment but looking to up my positions, just wondering what everyone thinks of this stock for the long term and using the Dividend to put towards something like $VTI (+1.24%)
