2Yr·

Hello 👋🏻

Am also relatively new here,38years old,2 kids, house and everything that is left (after the actual saving) I put into the crypto market.

Have started 2 years ago and am so far still a "little" in the minus 😅

I decided to go full risk.

Currently I am 100% invested in cryptos.

My plan is to pull out 80-90% in the next bull run to reallocate it to dividend stocks / ETFs.

So the crypto market should be for growth and the stocks for the "safe" and steady.

My #portfolio you are welcome to view.

To large parts I hold $BTC (-2.54%) & $ETH (+1.62%)

What do you think about it?

Nice portfolio. If you get bored with the volatility with shitcoins, you can look into CFDs. Alternatively Canadian cannabis stocks. Why wait years for personal bankruptcy when it can be done in months? LG and good luck 🚀🚀🚀

The post remains standing and in a few years I'll come up with an equally sarcastic text that does no one any good. Why should I go into personal bankruptcy, who can read is clearly at an advantage.

@ParinDodt thought your contribution would be a troll so I wanted to let me in on it. But if that's really serious then I can't think of anything else except hitting my head against the wall until it no longer hurts.

@EnjoyCapitalism

I'm serious, you don't seem to be a helpful copywriter with a slight tendency to violence, too bad. Maybe I'll smile at you in a few years when you've made 70% with your ETF IN 20years and think my piece 😘
1
@ParinDodt Well, you're not 15 anymore, so maybe you can cope with any losses. However, you also have a family and thus a certain responsibility. Your strategy can work, no question. However, the risk that it does not work out would be much too high for me. But it certainly depends on what "after other reserves" means in your situation. By the way, I would be interested to know what your partner thinks about it?

@ParinDodt you ask for feedback and can't take criticism or humor. Then just leave it at thinking and keep your views to yourself.

The constructive is what I'm missing here.

@ParinDodt you seriously want something constructive? Sell everything and start from scratch. Sorry, but what do you expect? If you take a burning car to the garage, they can't help you anymore.

@FutureProfit

I think yes that with BTC and ETH the strategy works out in any case, then I would have my initial investment already out again, even if it takes a few years. The rest is then a nice extra income. So I say so, what others smoke, drink, store etc... I just put in there.
My partner is so far no matter because she is not interested in it and just tells me I can do with my money what I want. She also does in the form of shopping, etc... We both have things to pay and as long as that runs each makes with your rest what he wants. If the money would be gone today, then we would continue to live normally, nothing would change.

@EnjoyCapitalism

It's not that bad now. My main part (60%) consist of BTC & ETH, with the two alone I can get out in the next bullrun already again my initial investment. With this in turn I can then invest smarter.

@NEWT1
My full seriousness! So this may sound crass, but I save a considerable part of my salary, which is just stupid on the daily allowance account, moreover, we have savings, reserves, etc... The money which is now in the crypto market are simply amounts that were always times left and thus reinwandert. This is already a few years so. So if this money is 100% lost nothing is lost. We can continue to live just as before.ä I do not smoke, I do not drink, do not party, that's just my fun 😀 My children have savings accounts, I have 2 private pension insurance, so the madness is containable. Sounds simply first heavier than it is.

profile image
@ParinDodt 1. you call it strategy. But this is not a strategy, currently the whole thing is based on the principle of hope that individual cryptos climb back to old or new ATH. 2. in the time in which you are waiting for a part of your investment to climb again to new or old heights, a sensibly diversified portfolio would very likely have achieved profits. This should also be taken into account when considering 3. On one side call money and on the other side crypto???? According to your own statement, you invest a considerable part in such a way that it definitely loses value thanks to inflation with the other you gamble and lose considerably due to price losses, but mock yourself here about people who invest their money in "boring" ETFs, thus probably hit the golden mean and achieve a better return than you with a large part of your savings (overnight money) while the other part (cryptos) is currently (and that's the only thing that counts) in the deep red. Something doesn't fit together 4. I don't care if you're a teetotaler or if you go out every weekend. But under fun I understand something else than his sauer verdientes money - and be it also only a part - with this Gezocke to burn, there has one regarding factor fun even in the casino more of it. And I don't buy that it's fun for you either. I suspect that is a protective claim due to the feedback received.
profile image
@NEWT1

 You're right somewhere I just wanted to show that what others drink up, I "gamble away". But you also know that when the crypto market rises again, what you do in the ETF market is just a 💨 8% is a daily deal 😀 What are you currently making so much profit that you compensate for inflation? The principle of hope is the same in the stock market / ETF market. Currently, everything is crashed down and you buy in the hope that it rises again. As I said I have 40% BTC & 20% ETH in the portfolio, alone that will run well in the next few years. The rest is gambles. In a stock / ETF heavy forum, you can expect nothing else, it's just the average. Only that it triggers such a terror was not known to me. The feedback is interesting, but I stand by it, so I do not have to protect me.
2
profile image
@ParinDodt Sorry, I don't want to get too close to you, but you're confusing a few points that need to be separated. First of all, inflation has a completely different effect on investments in overnight money vs. investments in securities. With overnight money fixed interest, you take the partial devaluation of your money by the inflation fully. With securities, however, you exchange your money for shares of one or more companies whereby the devaluation does not occur in this sense, there is the possibility to sell the company shares at a later date with lower inflation again, in the meantime you may have taken price gains and dividends. Then the comparison crypto and securities or that in both areas the principle of hope prevails. Sorry but we are talking about completely different assets here. You can see that in the volatility alone. By the way, historically there is no correlation between the S&P 500 and cryptos. That alone shows how differently the assets behave.
1
profile image
@NEWT1 he did not say that they behave the same or are the same assets, that one is much riskier should be clear to all, but the return is just much higher... But both are a risky purchase with which under certain circumstances a part or all of his money is lost (see wirecard etc.). Of course, this is 1000 times more likely with shit Coins, but you can make with shitcoins just a 100x. And since he himself and his family is completely secured and has reserves, this is quite a possible strategy... How good the respective strategy is you can see anyway only in the future...
3
profile image
@NEWT1 Crypto reacts much stronger to news but you can also see that Bitcoin will not disappear for it you can already use it too well worldwide and also many countries are working on their own coins or have them already. Fiat money is as good as dead there we need to fool us nothing.
1
profile image
@Dividendenolli I am also invested in Bitcoin. But that it can no longer disappear, I would now times so not sweepingly claim. 🙈🙈 As soon as a cross-border trade with Bitcoin would be banned, probably 98% of the people would sell their coins.
profile image
@Bart_S I don't believe it anymore because even big banks use the coin to transfer money to other countries, in South America it is indispensable and in Asia you can use it to pay almost everywhere.

@Epi with the statement "child and cone". This expression already comes from the Middle Ages and here quite precisely from the old German language. "Kegel" carries the meaning "illegitimate child".

Sorry, but no! And I mean a very loud no. 👎 And even though you put it in brackets, calling stocks "safe". Insane. Your deep red loss in the portfolio aside. Not even a bull run will help anymore. This thing has hit the wall. And you can't get out of it. Psychologically seen. Personally, I would pull the ripcord here. But very strongly.

@ParinDodt don't listen to others, I noticed that 95% of people here on getquin hate others only for their risk willingness, if you have seen the risk so and have permanently re-bought, then stick to your strategy and keep going for a few years. The whole thing will show itself sooner or later, whether it was a good or a not so good decision.

At the moment, I'm just looking forward to the time ahead. Exit plans have been made and I hope it will be good 🤩

Can only hope that you still have a 2nd savings stocking and not invest everything 🫣 And as a homeowner you should not put aside about 1% of the purchase price as a hedge for possible expenses for maintenance per year🤔

@RealRose

Nobody said that I put all my belongings in the crypto market. 1% is very interesting. That doesn't even cover the cost of a new roof 😅 I have the normal things of everyday life, savings contracts for the children, a daily allowance account, 2 private pension insurance, etc. We have 2 paid cars, go 3-4 times a year on vacation, we are so far well. I do not smoke and I do not drink, do not make any other party. The money that is then left after everything else I just put into the crypto market and with 40% BTC & 20% ETH I am anything but badly positioned.
profile image
@ParinDodt 1% per year 😉 and the roof also lasts longer than 1 year🤣
profile image
@RealRose

The most expensive thing is probably a roof and the heating system. If you have that together, you are already in a good position.

What you describe there is "the dream of quick money". You just want to "pull 30-50k out of the crypto market"... Of course, there are always a few winners who are then reported prominently and in the media - but these are exceptions. Educate yourself further & increase your income, build up something yourself - the money will come all by itself. Stop dreaming of quick money and do something for it to have a long-term and sustainable good living!

@Dr27589

It doesn't have to happen that fast. My investment horizon is of course already longer. The idea is only to pull out money in the next bull run to take profits. Let's be honest, currently I am almost 15% in BTC and 10% in ETH in the minus. If both crack their ATH I am already far in the plus. These are also my largest positions with 40% and 20%, why should they break until the next run?
1
profile image
@ParinDodt I understand, that's why I put the "pull out the money" in the comment. What makes you think that the ATH will be reached/exceeded again, or that there will be another "run" at all? If all stocks in my portfolio climb back to their ATH I'm also good :D
1
profile image
@Dr27589

There remains for me only the naive view to say that it was exceeded again and again with the big cryptos and I trust that it happens again. 😅🫢 But my confidence is very high that I am at least with my largest positions very quickly out of the minus. 10 & 15% will both certainly make, rather more. Therefore, I do not understand the negative mood here. Have I driven the cart so badly to the wall?
profile image
@ParinDodt not yet 😄 Realizing a -10% loss is no big deal. But the risk that the expected return will never come remains. With luck, you can also have +100% in 8-10 years with a normal ETF - without the risk that your asset will no longer be worth anything.

That looks more like a casino. If you want to invest in dividends for the long term, why not just start right away instead of burning your money in crypto?
2
profile image
@FlexXandy

Burning is so a bit hard, we can talk about it when the next bull run is around. My plan was to build 30-50k in the crypto market. What should I do with a few € in the stock market, that must be worth it I think. With the above sum you can start there already more. As I said it it play money, it's gone the world does not end for me.
1
profile image
@ParinDodt if for you 30-50k is play money, kudos 👍
3
profile image
@ParinDodt and you know there's definitely a next bull run? How? Because it was like this before? But that was at times with 0% interest or negative interest... For me personally much too risky.
1
profile image
@gamlasvensk You think the world economy will never go back to zero interest rates? Cute.
1
profile image
@FlexXandy

The 12k which I have as a basis are the play money because they are created from play money which others vertrinken or verrauchen. The 30-50k are of course no longer play money. 5 digits are currently also a number, since isr come together quite a bit. I know so far only one side of the market and wanted in this stock / ETF lastigen forum times a different assessment of my investment. That it goes off course so I have not dreamed 😅
profile image
@ParinDodt is also not meant anything bad, only many could not sleep peacefully with it (rightly as I find) You have your strategy, if you can call it as such, perhaps also somewhat unfortunate formulated. It all sounds just very much like making a lot from a little money and then invest more defensively, although this is really extremely speculative what you have in mind, that should be clear to you 😅 Understand the approach just not quite honestly said... just go directly to dividends or dividend growth, before you gamble with crypto your money, because your children then also have nothing from
profile image
@FlexXandy

Am currently here non-stop answering, as one or the other sentence may be unfortunate formulation 😅 Here gehts yes really right off. I was aware that here is held very much of shares & ETFs, so I wanted an opinion from another corner. But it will be so blatant I did not think. In the crypto world I am the safe and serious investor, but what brings me powdered sugar in the butt.

I'm at least just rowing what my 100% crypto strategy is concerned. Currently I think that I probably leave everything in the crypto market for now and see what becomes of it. The next monthly "play money" I put then rather in the stock market in the next few years, so I would be at least times more broadly positioned.
1
profile image
@ParinDodt Btw: most people start with smaller amounts on the stock market. You would not be the only one. With 12k you might not be overly high for your age, but it will turn into a nice sum if you stick with it.
1
profile image
@NurEinHobby oh, and you think it's coming? Cute 😋 Low interest rates do not equal zero interest rates, because I already expect low interest rates (approx. 2 to 3%).

Thank you for your portfolio presentation! I like exotic portfolios and I won't judge you for it either. That the coins: Doge, Ethereum PoW, Shiba Inu, Solana and Terra have a future, I doubt strongly. They would have already been kicked out for me as part of buy & hold & check, but can also wait for a bull run if you can't think of a better place for your money right now. $BEST could get interesting because of the deflationary trend and rewards. Personally, a 60/40 split would be too risky for me in a crypto portfolio, I would rather suggest the Pareto principle (80/20): 80% "safe cryptos" ($BTC + $ETH) and 20% altcoins. Otherwise, I have no problem with your approach: you have a house and savings and the surplus is play money. Please remember not to leave all coins on the Exchanges, but also back them up in a hardware wallet. What does your partner think of your investments? Do you also save or invest for your kids, junior deposit or crypto?

Don't let the Bitcoin maxis, who call everything except Btc shitcoin, or the etflers, who call everything that is not a stock or ETF directly gambling, tell you anything. Most of those who are against crypto, just hate because they don't understand it and don't deal with it. Those who condemn you now get in on the bull run greed driven, finance your exit and call the crypto market a scam afterwards because they made minus.
Whether now all in Crypto in your life phase is right, you have to decide for yourself, but as you have described it, you are firmly in life and invest mostly play money, so evtle total losses should not hurt you and alone your BTC position will equalize your losses. Now in itself to your portfolio: I would vllt reduce something and vllt focus on about +-15 projects. Shiba and Doge I personally would not take in, because they only rise by hype and not by application, but sell in the minus makes sense only if you want to compensate your profit taking, so that you stay under the 600€ profit limit (because of the taxes). Therefore, I would not buy more positions. Terra Luna or Luna classic I would call dead and I do not think much of Solana. Otherwise Quant, Chainlink and XRP Mega projects that are also just again quite cheap, I would operate DCA. Vechain also a super project and from Cardano I am personally a big fan but I do not think that this project has as good potential as others from your portfolio (QNT & LINK eg.) Furthermore, there vllt a good Ai or Metaverse project. The Ai projects have after the strong run at the beginning of the year again well corriegiert so that would definitely be worth considering in my opinion. BTC and ETH you should in my opinion continue to weigh high, so so towards 40% btc 20% eth, both undeniably on place 1&2 of the crypto ranking and give your fairly risky portfolio a good bit of security.

The stock market is a marathon, not a sprint. You can't make up for lost time with assets that are far too risky. Here and there it can be a yield boost, but not 100%. Please rethink your strategy. Wish you much success.

But there are also some projects where I would never have invested. Also be aware that this is all very risky. Of course, you have an incredible return in the best case and vlt even never need to work again. But vlt is also all your money "gone" I for my part. I do 50/50. 50% crypto and 50% stocks/ETF. Yes, certainly compared to the crypto market 😅 But honestly, my main part is BTC. There I am currently with ~15% in the minus, the thing rises only to the Ath I am already at 100% plus.
