@Koenigmidas Thank you for your feedback. The alternatives would be (among others) e.g. the basic disability insurance, or an accident insurance. Unfortunately, both are far worse in terms of performance... Possibly it would be possible with an exclusion of the occupational disability due to the chronic disease. But this will probably not be desired...

@Koenigmidas You can also get an occupational disability insurance with chronic illnesses, but depending on the severity of the existing illnesses, they are excluded in the event of an insured event. That's why my tip is to take out an insurance policy for your child immediately after it is born, because there are no preliminary examinations and checks at that time. Only because my mother did it that way with me, I got a disability insurance with coverage of all chronic diseases.
