🌴 Personal review of May
May was quite unspectacular overall. The tax return was submitted, which is at least a tick on the to-do list.
Less pleasing was the fact that my car didn't pass its MOT due to a puncture. Unfortunately, this means additional and avoidable costs. The prices for dental cleanings also seem to increase every year.
At least I was able to optimize my mobile phone tariff. All I need now is a new cell phone, which I will probably buy in late summer.
In addition, the "Club of the two-digit" has been proclaimed. 🎉
🎧 Interest rates, podcast & real estate
- There was no news at Vivid.
- The podcast is freeze in Season 3.
- Real estate: We continue to save consistently for the 2026 special repayment.
🔮 Outlook for June
Next week we're off to the North Sea for two weeks. We are also still waiting for feedback from our tax advisor and the final invoice for the repairs and MOT improvements to the car.
There's also a lot on the sporting agenda: The World Cup is getting closer
