@DividendenAlpaka DividendAlpaka the "hype" in the financial sector is slowly coming to an end and I for one do not expect the kind of growth we have seen in the last 12 months. The restructuring of HSBC is associated with significant costs, the increased concentration on the core market of Asia and the further withdrawal from Europe, as well as in Canada and investment banking in the USA is something I, at least, view critically. The costs for the restructuring and a high write-down on an investment in a Chinese bank are also a burden. The Chinese business also resulted in higher provisions for loans in the crisis-ridden Chinese real estate market. This had a negative impact on the half-year result, with a decline of more than 25% compared to the previous year. But it was not reflected so brutally in the share price. Speaks for HSBC, it's also Europe's biggest bank, they have to put up with this 🤷‍♂️😉. I got in almost 2 years ago with further purchases and can take a relaxed view of the situation thanks to the price increase and the dividends. I would not recommend entering now due to the fragile situation with tariffs against China at the moment, as this would put further pressure on the economy there and consequently on HSBC's business. In addition, it remains to be seen how the restructuring will affect costs and thus the balance sheet; I do not expect any reliable figures before mid-2016. If you are in, hold and watch and, if necessary, hedge profits downwards, everyone else can watch from the sidelines for the time being
