This is my first post after just over a year of investing. So, I'll introduce myself a little, without going into too many personal details.
My name here is Missíl, I'm 19 years old and I live in Europe. I currently invest €250 per month, with plans to increase my contribution as my career progresses. Of this €250, €75 is invested in $JEGP and another €75 in $TDIV , leaving me with around €100 to invest in my portfolio. I am trying to make $JEGP about 30% of my portfolio and $TDIV about 20%. I am a work in progress when it comes to financial vocabulary and how everything works behind the scenes, but I am improving. The focus of my investments is on dividends, like most of you, and I hope that one day these dividends will pay my fixed monthly bills or at least help with their payment.
This month, I will make the following investments: €75 $JEGP , €75 $TDIV , €60 $AVGO and €40 $DPZ .
At the moment, I am experimenting with StandardAero $SARO to see if the ‘tips’ given by the QuiverQuantitative platform perform well (based on the results shown on the platform, they seem to, but I prefer to test it before investing money in the $300/year subscription (EXPENSIVE)). The test will last for 3 months, ending on 18 March 2026. The amount invested was €23.50 (equivalent to 1 share at the time).
The platform I use is XTB. I really like it, it's easy to use and intuitive.
Now I'm going to talk a little about some positions:
$JEGP , I really like it because of the monthly payments, which are very much in line with my goals, but I understand that this is not a position that will appreciate much in value, but I'm fine with that because at the moment I have no plans to sell it in the near future.
$UNH is part of my portfolio at the moment, but this is because I managed to buy one share when it dropped to €207. I believe the company will recover in the long term, and the large share purchases made by major investors give me even more confidence.
My goal with this post, and future posts that I hope to write, are as follows:
1. In the middle of this year, I thought about starting to write posts like this, both so that the community could give me input and also to hold myself accountable for something, and with the end of 2025 approaching, it seemed like a good idea to start this new habit that I want to carry into 2026.
2. To learn. Many of you will most likely give input, and I'll tell you right now, PLEASE SAY WHAT YOU THINK!!! I want to learn more, and I believe these posts will provide me with that learning.
3. I often find myself undecided about how to invest the remaining €100 of the €250, so I would appreciate suggestions on positions in my portfolio that I should increase.
