Is the Palo Alto rating exaggerated?

$PANW (-1,61%)

Hello, dear community.

A few weeks ago, based on Palo Alto’s valuation—with a P/E ratio of over 900—I sold half of my position.

After a brief dip, though, the stock is still on the rise.

What do you guys think?

Is the valuation too high?

Or is that just how it goes with a stock that has such promising prospects?

Cheers,

DK

$PANW This is a great example (and a reminder to myself) that the price can go much further than expected—or than is “healthy.” I sold it way too early, haha. But anyone buying at these prices right now is obviously crazy. Still, you can protect yourself with a (mental) stop-loss.

@jkb92 I still hold onto the other half. I'm just starting to wonder how this can keep going with a P/E ratio like that :)

@jkb92 At what rate did you actually rejoin Innodata $INOD?

@jkb92 I had the same experience with $FTNT. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@Dividendenkobolt My cost basis was €49 (I used DCA and had multiple tranches). I sold out yesterday during the rally. Right now, I'm looking to take some profits on the AI trade.
