My man of confidence, is he right in assuming that it makes more sense to buy turbos/options of US traded stocks only when the stock exchanges in the US are open, as the spread is presumably lower then and in summer, above all, the volume is also lower? Or does this not play a role in contrast to buying shares? Lg

@BamBamInvest in any case do not trade until then, sometimes it even makes sense to wait until 16:00. Because in the first few minutes there are often strong swings in both directions. And only then does the trend for the day settle down. Many issuers cannot or do not want to set prices in line with the market beforehand. And the spreads are abnormal. Unless you take MAG 7, which also has enough liquidity beforehand
What is the target of your desire?

@Multibagger thank you ! have now got me the following once with 10 leverage 😂 to gamble, but manageable with 150 euros . I see this as a learning phase and spread was ok DE000ME8UQ26 (Zoetis 9.15 leverage)

@BamBamInvest With the size of your portfolio, 2-3% more or less spread doesn't matter😉 You should also get into the habit of checking the price. Mathematically, the price should be at 1.23 with a fair price position.

@Multibagger thanks for the info , bought at 1.27 , will wait as you say next time for US to open . Where or how do you best check the price ?

@BamBamInvest I look at the USD price of the share and then, in the case of KO bills, it is very easy to calculate the KO price. The difference in USD converted to the current € price should then make up the price, adjusted for the subscription ratio.
With Flatex this is relatively easy when I go to buy, all trading places are displayed. However, I usually buy bills directly from the issuer.

@Multibagger thanks, yes I made sure to choose the provider with the lowest spread anyway. 👍

@BamBamInvest Tell me, you are also invested quite heavily in $SOFI. Do you still see potential to get in now, or would you wait for a correction if you were me, who is not yet invested?

@Multibagger Well, let's see how the breakout above the 25$ develops. If I wasn't invested, I'd wait and see or get in with a small position for observation. RSI quite overbought, but you know what FOMO can do. If you want to be invested here for 5-10 years plus, it won't matter, because if they get into the top 10 banks, there is still a lot of room for upside. In addition, crypto and co are now coming back, the tech platform Galileo has a lot of potential. It will probably also depend on the general market now. It is difficult to open new positions in companies that have already done well.
