Hello my dears,
One of my favorite indices has now also made it. I'm just starting to see potential here after the interest rate cut. The index is always a good place to look for pearls. Maybe that's one reason why I like it.
Investing.com - The US small cap index Russell 2000 reached a new intraday record high on Thursday, recovering significantly from its April decline. President Donald Trump's tariff policy was the trigger for the decline at that time.
The small cap index reached 2,470.2 points during trading on Thursday, surpassing its previous intraday record high of 2,466.49 points set on November 25, 2024. The index was also on course to surpass its record closing level of 2,442.74 points set more than three years ago.
Since its low on April 7, the Russell 2000 has recovered by around 42%. At that time, concerns about Trump's far-reaching tariffs had unsettled the global markets and prompted investors to sell risky assets.
