But why do you think now is the right time to enter the market? It's justified. + If the analysts adjust their estimates now, things will continue to go downhill.

@Michey777 I invest with a long-term horizon. A company like SAP is well established and has a strong strategy. I work in IT myself and see clear value in their product. Timing the market is hard and this is a nice dip!

@RoelH175 I wouldn't disagree with you. I think SAP really is a very good company. I just think that such a (poor) result could put further pressure on the valuation. Nevertheless, good luck :) I also have them on my watchlist👍

@schlimmschlimm I will also wait a little longer. Especially if the other software companies report poorly, it could become even more difficult. Besides, I can't think of any reason to invest on the valuation at the moment when I can have a $ADBE for half p/e, which is obviously growing faster. But in principle I am bullish for software in the long term

@RoelH175 I would love to! Yes, absolutely! SAP has been on the WL for a long time, why not? I'm just unsure whether now is the right time to get in. The share has lost around 40% since its record high just under a year ago. Technically, it is in an intact downtrend and is trading well below important levels such as the 200-day line. From a technical point of view, we are currently grasping a falling knife. A bottom cannot yet be clearly identified on the chart; initial support could only be found in the € 160 to € 170 range. In the medium term, a share buyback program is certainly an option. Perhaps a first tranche can be considered in the near future, but I would wait.
