Opinion on IREN?

Good morning getquin community,

I have been thinking about investing in $IREN (-0,19%) but I am not sure whether the stock is fairly valued at the moment.

What do you think of the share?

Is anyone invested?

Would you get in now or wait for a possible setback?

I look forward to every comment!

Greetings🐍

Am very bullish, and see the write-offs 1: as not as bad as priced in, 2: prerevenue as an opportunity to get new partners and expand very strongly 3: vertical structure and scarcity as strength and much more, as described in post am very bullish

The price target is just under 70 euros, we have already made almost 19% this year, why didn't you get in on January 2?
I got in 3 times last year and got out completely 3 times because it was running too hot. Most recently got back in on 02.01, with a gain of just under 20% so far...
The question is are you looking for short-term gains or are you prepared to sit out 25% without getting nervous?
I think we will be higher at the end of 26 or even 27 than we are right now, but a lot will happen between now and then.

@Chris-1989 also brings Nix in and out for 20%, buy and hold. Peaked at 700% last year, now it's just under 300%.

@Derspekulant1 Then you got in on time, congratulations. I often got in at around 30 euros and got out again at 60 euros. For me it's a trading stock, as written it will certainly be 27 higher than today, but I haven't built up a long-term position yet. But there will certainly be another chance this year to buy in cheaper than today.

@Chris-1989 30 to 60 (closing price xetra) has been achieved exactly once so far. And even if one were to calculate generously, the low in October was just under 44 euros, which would be 45% higher than your suggested 30/60 trades.

At the moment we are close to a support level at IREN. I am invested myself and continue to hold on. The management is incredibly good! LG

@Buyandhold91 Thank you for your comment! Can you perhaps explain in more detail what you mean by "close to support" in relation to the current purchase price?

@MedusaFi The share has touched around 40-41usd several times and bounced off from there. Once before the run to the top and three times afterwards. Now it has broken below it once and then back above it with a lot of steam. Looks like this is an accumulation zone in the chart where some buy orders are sitting.

I got in with little money at € 37. If you're not sure, open a savings plan and increase the amount in the event of a setback.

it always depends on what you want to do with the position and how long you want to hold it. Iren will go its own way... everything below €35 was a very good entry price today.

I am in with 111 shares and am selling most of them at €65.
According to my screener, the price is 36% above fair value.

I got in with a small position - far too expensive - and have been running a savings plan since then - maybe an idea for you too. But I also want to hold it for the long term, so I'll take it even if it goes down again.

@Zackdela79 Thanks for your comment! What does 'way too expensive' mean to you? Would you like to name your starting price?)

@MedusaFi Yes, of course, I bought my first position at EUR 55. It will now be corrected downwards via the savings plan. And in the long term I am convinced of prices > EUR 55.
