On February 13, IREN Limited announced that the company will be added to the MSCI USA Index after market close on February 27, 2026. According to BlockBeats, the MSCI USA Index measures the performance of large-cap and mid-cap stocks in the US equity market and covers approximately 85% of the free-float market capitalization in the US. This inclusion should improve IREN's visibility to institutional investors and index tracking funds. Previously, it was reported that Bitcoin mining company IREN successfully transformed itself into an AI data center in November 2025 to achieve a commercial transformation.

@Kanye-Invest well, first of all it's positive, of course, because the index providers are now going to take them up at some point. The whole thing works automatically, so on the day of admission it could of course be volatile as they first buy up all the order books. You could work out roughly how high the volume will be if you look at the fund volumes of the etfs. Normally this is weighted according to market cap. So you look at where they rank and then see roughly how much money is being pumped in.
