$XPEV Do you see potential?????

Chinese equities are highly recommended, especially for inexperienced private investors, due to their risk profile and high market transparency.
You can also see it in the price. A safe bet, so to speak.

Please note: this comment is ironic.

@FairValue just keep on repeating the old cammellas :)

The share price argument is even more stupid. Because it has nothing whatsoever to do with the location and price of the shares. At the latest when the correction starts in America, it will also go up again in this area. Xpeng is Tesla in better shape and the price could not be more contrary.

@jkb92 The special risk profile when buying ADRs of a totalitarian dictatorship and the massive lack of information are just a story? Ah yes

The price argument says that the private investor would have massively underperformed the market over the last few years if the ADR had not been traded with very good timing, which is virtually impossible. So for massive risk there is massive underperformance.

What correction in America is this supposed to be? We've had three in the last 12 months. Will Xpeng then move in the next one or what?

The best thing to do is to call Wall Street and tell everyone to direct their capital into the company because Tesla is better and everyone has been wrong so far. The cabin is trading at 1.3 times sales and you talk about the better Tesla 😂

Beyond that, you obviously have no idea how capital markets work.

@FairValue Oh dear, that's just old news, whether that has changed in the meantime is no longer of any interest, always this moaning about the Alibaba case.

Your comments make the price argument even more stupid. You could say the same thing about any other stock that doesn't correlate with the US tech sector.

It rather shows that you have no idea. Time will tell :)

Take a look at where smart money is being invested right now. More in EM than in the USA. There are statistics on this that you don't seem to know or want to ignore. So you don't have to call wallstreet :)

@jkb92 Of course I don't know every statistic, but feel free to show me.

Large institutional capital, hedge funds, algos, CTAs and co have just caused a bombastic US rally for 1.5 months.

But keep looking for unicorns in China and EM because you believe that a price explosion is imminent because an institutional investor has supposedly opened a "small" position there. After all, it's your money, not mine.

@jkb92 I guess you don't want to reveal which statistic you mean after all?

@FairValue I saw it on WLA, but I don't feel like looking it up for you now. If you're really interested, you can go on a search :)

For me, it is the most broadly positioned automotive company in the world. They are also strong in robotics and are definitely further ahead than $TSLA, the same applies to autonomous driving. If you have time and can withstand volatility of 40-50%, this is a top pick for me. If they can now manage their expansion, which I assume they will, they will take off.
