IREN Limited: Price slide as an opportunity? 📉

$IREN (-3,34%) has recently made a good run (towards USD 65) and is now correcting back to USD 56. The story with the NVIDIA deal and the shift to AI data centers is extremely exciting, but the volatility is really not for the faint-hearted.

I'm just wondering: What's your current view?

Are you using the setback to get in or is the risk too high for you?

And if you are investing: Do you see IREN more as a a small, speculative addition or do you trust the whole a large weighting in your portfolio?

Looking forward to your opinion! 👇

No investment advice!

It is not about setback today, it is about convertible notes again...So I see Iren is a great oportunity from long period of view, but I wouldnt be surprised to see them below 30usd again...

The slide in the share price is due to the issue of convertible notes = debt with conversion options totaling $2bn+$300m today. I am very bullish in the medium and long term. The company is improving from quarter to quarter.

@Klein-Anleger I'm more wondering whether it's worth buying/entering $PNG right now. It's also come back a good bit

@bull_investor_1994_ Yes, I would! I don't know if you've heard the news about the takeover, otherwise I have an analysis of it in my profile. This puts them in a completely new league and if we were to see 3 euros per share again, I would probably - provided the fundamentals don't change - almost go all-in...

The fluctuations will remain. I would check whether your investment thesis is intact or whether the general conditions are changing fundamentally. If not, use such days to buy more.

We have seen a brilliant development in many stocks (*flagpoles*), which will probably be sold off soon. I am curious to see which tweet or trigger will be responsible for this.

The business with AI data centers is still really small with only 25% of total sales. The rest is unfortunately still dependent on the Bitcoin mining business.
