Representatives from both companies have discussed whether they should merge their businesses, the Bloomberg news agency reported on Thursday evening, citing people familiar with the matter.

This evening there has already been a small swing at Glencore, let's see what happens tomorrow 👆😬

@GeldGenie I'm also curious whether this would even go through.

I added Glencore back to my portfolio in December, I think it's a good stock for swing trades. I currently have a position of 1,600 shares with a buy-in of €4.48 - regardless of whether the merger goes through or not, the position is well positioned in the portfolio and will be liquidated again when the target price is reached 😉

The talks have long since ended, as insiders have reported. The talks took place at the end of December. However, nobody knows what came out of them yet
