☠️🔥ROAST IT🔥☠️ Long-term wealth accumulation with family in mind 📈💸 Version 2.0 after one year

I am 27, married and father of a little daughter (17 months).

We started investing in 2021 - not at some point, we just did it.

It was clear to us early on that we weren't just doing this for ourselves, but also for our daughter.

Today, our portfolio stands at around € 205,000.

My strategy:

I deliberately keep it simple and long-term:

  • FTSE All-World as the basis
  • I specifically build up emerging markets (target: approx. 20%)
  • VanEck Dividend ETF for cash flow
  • Bitcoin as a small admixture

Individual stocks such as Allianz & BlackRock and VHYL are simply running along, but are not being saved any further.

My current savings plan (€1,300 per month):

  • 500 € All-World
  • 250 € Emerging Markets
  • 250 € VanEck Dividend
  • 300 € Bitcoin

👉 We also save € 130 per month in the VWRL for our daughter.

Our plan:

Build up assets over the long term, stay calm and invest consistently - with the aim of creating financial security for our family for decades to come.

👉 The dividends are currently not reinvested, but are instead parked entirely in the Scalable call money account in order to gradually build up a nest egg of €8-10k.

Looking forward to the exchange 👇

PS: The second $VWRL (-1,51%) with about 4000 € is the children's custody account.

@MarcoZ Thank you my friend! 👍💸 Do you have any suggestions for improvement?
Do you have the VWRL running separately on a child custody account? Or do you let it run with you and then give it to her as a gift as soon as she is ready in terms of knowledge?

@Hidalidsch runs separately via a children's custody account at Comdirect

How do you buy your BTC? (I want to set up a monthly savings plan)

@capital_sherpa_wttcm not an investment recommendation, of course! I am satisfied with BitPanda

Bitpanda has extremely high fees. Would recommend kraken! Always more than satisfied and one of the top 3 worldwide. Deposit and withdrawal super easy. Hope you don't leave your BTC on the exchange
As far as BTC is concerned, I would recommend a dynamic DCA strategy. At the moment, I would keep my feet still. We are in a bear market and will probably remain so until the fall. We will probably see USD 40k in the course of the year. Don't be blinded by countertrend rallies!

What do you think of Bitvavo I've looked at a few providers and this provider has the "best" rating

@Florian2026 Take a look at STRIKE. I have an hourly savings plan there and the fees are the cheapest on the market. If you start with a referral link, you have no fees at all for the first 500€
Very strong, respect! We do a lot of things in a similar way, our daughter is now also 17 months old 😎 Is there actually any way to exchange ideas beyond this platform? I would find it really exciting. I come from the Hanover region...keep up the good work!

Wait for the fall of this year with Bitcoin...we are in a bear market and will remain so. If we do see USD 40k before then, then DCA from there. Good luck!

Super! Bitcoin share should mmn. Should certainly be increased to 5%. You are currently in the red. With price gain up to 10% share or at 5 then rebalancing.

You are doing everything right!
I would put 10% less into EM... maybe add 5% gold.
I really like it :) maybe think about gold and small caps :)

Just get on with it. Just as it suits you 👍

As already mentioned, I would also add gold up to a maximum of 10%, otherwise there's not much to complain about. Simple, very solid portfolio, keep it up!

Really cool porfolio. I wish, that I at my 27 years was so smart and dedicated. Just keep it up 👍🏼
Why the choice of $WVRL instead of $VWCE (acc) for your (long-term) daughter?

The rest of the portfolio looks fantastic to me. In the recent future I will have a similar structure to yours, just with that exception (VWCE instead of VWRL).
