@bullish999 which is not an art in Switzerland.

@bullish999 Great, you'll soon be a millionaire 👍🚀
imagem de perfil
@SwissKnife you can also talk down everything, i am 29 years old and am far away from the 300k although i am a financial advisor and like to invest, so even in switzerland it is quite commendable.

Very good 👍🏼 hopefully out of the hamster wheel soon😂

Fuck the haters....
You're welcome 💪🏻

lol yes as Swiss, so you probably just earn the minimum wage and only work part time. 😅
That's also only 23,000 kebabs in Zurich.
Or the annual rent for a 1-room garbage can behind Lidl... 🤣

But seriously, what's 300,000 adjusted for purchasing power in Switzerland compared to Germany or Austria? Easily half that, right?

@TotallyLost According to my information, it's not even that bad - but it was also 2 years ago when I looked into it. The cost of living was about 60% higher then, and rents were about 40-50% higher. But if you earn 100% more, that's not bad.

@TotallyLost I am German and emigrated there 2 years ago. I earn above average. Switzerland is a dream if you have no children and a high income. Otherwise it can be difficult

@TotallyLost unfortunately completely the wrong idea about Switzerland -> shopping in Aldi / Lidl Suisse is now cheaper than in DE. I regularly go shopping in both countries -> other living costs are slightly more expensive (rent, for example), but not that much compared to large German cities. In contrast, the net wage is usually a factor of 2-3x compared to DE

@Finanzielle-Freiheit I live in the border triangle and I avoid Switzerland like the devil avoids holy water.
Almost everything is more expensive for an EU citizen.

If you live and work in Switzerland, you're not much better off than in Germany. (about 6% better on average)
https://www.laenderdaten.info/lebenshaltungskosten.php

Food is also more expensive, although not quite as much.
https://auf-in-die-schweiz.de/ratgeber/preise/lebensmittel-preise-im-supermarkt/

But every type of service simply costs almost twice as much.
A kebab in Zurich costs you ~€13, a kebab in Vienna ~€8

Quite apart from the fact that you almost slide into private insolvency if you forget to deactivate your mobile data at the border 😅

@TotallyLost You don't have enough power to live in Switzerland yet!

Nice, congratulations!

@TotallyLost According to hist. posts 7k EK and 4K savings rate.

So either a cross-border commuter or living at home - the savings rate is not/hardly achievable in Switzerland.

Purchasing power parity DE/CH: 1.5 -1.7

@GeldGenie earn 7k per month net (this is not the average) live in 1 room apartment for 1500 chf
imagem de perfil
@Sua7

I'd be really interested in the budget. Even then, 4k is a lot (taxes, health insurance, food, sports/clubs, IT, replacement purchases, ....) 😊
imagem de perfil
@GeldGenie it always depends on the salary. With 10k net you can easily save 4k in CH without children
imagem de perfil
@Finanzielle-Freiheit Correct. But it is written about 7k EK. 😊

@GeldGenie 1240 rent
300 health insurance
100 per month own contribution health insurance on average
900 food and care products cleaning etc
Transportation paid by employer I don't have a car
40 Internet
460 so to spend
In addition, there is about 10k net bonus which can also be invested

And net income is 7500 I have rounded off the 7k
imagem de perfil
@Sua7 Thank you! Exciting zoom 😊👍

And cross-border commuters - so taxes already deducted? 👍

I would be missing provisions for IT, furniture, etc. No hobbies in that case either - or at least none worth mentioning?

And 460 is probably enough in DE. In CH it would hardly be a social life 🙈

Really cool how it seems to be going. Congratulations 😎👍
imagem de perfil
@GeldGenie Cross-border commuters would still have to pay taxes in Germany

But yes, in my calculation I have already deducted my approximate taxes and social security contributions
imagem de perfil
Respect for the performance, but would slowly sort out a bit 👍

Hi Sua7, my goal is to have 100k by 30. How did you reach 300k at 27? I would love to learn from you. 🙈

@Esperanza Luck is a part that should not be underestimated.

Tech shares bought 2022
Crypto bought 2023

Pluss high salary 4k savings rate
2
imagem de perfil
@Sua7 😮holy, since when have you been investing 4k?
imagem de perfil
@Esperanza you are also in IT, if you want to make real money (apart from self-employment) go in the direction of cybersecurity or IT manager.
1
imagem de perfil
@Dellou hehe unfortunately I've already gone in the direction of Data Engineer XD but maybe Manager at some point. Let's see. I'm not trained enough for cybersecurity. But thanks for the tip! I'm glad :) What are you doing?
imagem de perfil
@Esperanza Working, taking risks and learning from mistakes were my points.

I don't know if it's still luck if you're constantly on the ball for several years... his stock picks aren't exactly unknown sheep so they're not just lucky hits

@Danone1986 I agree exactly. That's what he deserves because it's his decision and his assertiveness. He's simply modest XD

Stable savings rate of 2k per month on average. What do you do for a living? Is it true that you don't have to pay taxes on capital gains in Switzerland?
imagem de perfil
@100erHebel it consultant. It depends on the taxes

I now even pay a little more on dividends than in Germany because they are taxed at the marginal rate

Cool, congratulations! Fill up the 500k...
It's cool how everyone achieves their new goals just because Donald is finally spitting 😂
imagem de perfil
@user24790529394 haha that's how it is and before that it gave us the opportunity to shoot in just a little more
imagem de perfil
Congratulations - even if, strictly speaking, the 300k was reached in €, but not (yet) in CHF 😉

I'm also currently in Antalya 😄
imagem de perfil
How is that possible? Nobody can do that with normal work, impossible! You super rich number 50% and more taxes 🐣

Stay on the ball and make the most of the opportunities that come your way! Only those who stay on the ball and work hard will get the opportunities. In 5 years you'll have the million!
imagem de perfil
@Sua7 Congrats! You don't do 3a, i.e. you put everything in your own depot?
imagem de perfil
@SatsStacker yes i don't know what the tax situation will be in switzerland in 40 years' time

So it's better to pay tax now than maybe more later
imagem de perfil
Congratulations! 🎊 Keep up the good work!
imagem de perfil
Stable and good. Hats off 🫡
imagem de perfil
Cool....enjoy an extra raki.
imagem de perfil
Hats off, 27 years are a lot! We will also go to Antalya this summer :)
imagem de perfil
Don't let all the envious people here put you down. It's great that you had the foresight at such a young age not to knock everything on the head. That deserves respect👍
Gratuliere!
imagem de perfil
From the perspective of someone who's just recently started to invest, it is wonderful to see others sticking to they're goals and achieving them! Congratulations to you 👏! Now keep it up till 500k
Wow and that at 27, bravo! I'm also Swiss and even if I don't know your background, haters gonna hate, even in CH 300'000 is a lot of money! Even if you perhaps earn well and lived at home for a long time, etc. My assets tended towards zero at 27.
imagem de perfil
Congratulations :-)
imagem de perfil
How can you have made 122k profit? Simply 50% return....

I have been crawling for 4 years with a 12% return
imagem de perfil
@GreedyA The question will be answered if you make your portfolio public :)
imagem de perfil
Insane performance, have a nice vacation 🙏
imagem de perfil
How do you manage 56 positions?
@Sua7 What helped you the most to generate this sum? What was the biggest lever?
imagem de perfil
@Steewee my salary
Only the salary? Or also other income streams?
Super. Well done
