Don't you have any concerns about novo because of the upcoming lawsuits?
••
@Seebi which lawsuit? I only found something from 2024 on the internet
••
@Semos25 Novo Nordisk is currently facing several legal challenges, particularly in the USA. A major class action lawsuit has been filed by users of the drugs Ozempic and Wegovy. The plaintiffs report serious side effects such as gastroparesis (stomach paralysis), chronic diarrhea and even tooth loss. They accuse the company of not having provided sufficient information about these risks. The motto is: follow the news closely ^^

•I am clearly up ... approx. 700% and have already thought about an exit, but why shouldn't it continue (I can't think of anything at the moment) and, above all, where to put the money (I can't think of anything at the moment). I'm invested in some major European companies, but I'm rather critical of European equities in 2024... I don't think that will change in 2025. So, keep holding!
••
@PIXELINVESTOR Which company has not been indicted? It doesn't stop any more
••
@Semos25 Yes, you're right, Novo has probably also protected itself against such things with its package insert. And even if not, in the end money is paid for a settlement and silence must be maintained about it. 😝

•@PIXELINVESTOR this is how it looks 👍
••
@PIXELINVESTOR Wegovy: there is a note that it should be used with caution in diabetic gastroparesis because there is limited experience. Diarrhea is also listed as a side effect (very common, >/= one in ten). In Germany. How it is in the USA: no idea. And tooth loss: this is probably due to sugar consumption and poor dental hygiene, which is the reason for using Wegovy in the first place. But: anything is possible in the USA. You certainly have to keep an eye on it, although the fundamental figures for $NOVO B are still great: Must-have products, sales figures actually good, profits actually good, only share price has slumped..... (did I ever mention that "analysts" are a species that normally belong behind bars until they have been clearly proven harmless?😆😉)
