All time high on Holiday!

€10k added since September, with half of that invested from my own money. I’m honestly surprised by how much these “boring,” stable dividend stocks have appreciated. €2.5k in just one month!

On top of that, I’m currently receiving an average of €28 in dividends every week. That adds up nicely over time.

I did find it difficult to keep buying at all-time highs, but I still do. I have confidence in the long-term future of these companies, I know I can’t control what the market does, and I believe I’ll still earn a better return than leaving my money in the bank.

That said, I do need to build up my cash position again. I’ve been considering selling 3 of my 15 Johnson & Johnson shares, as they’re currently up 58%.

What should you do in my position?$JNJ (+1,45%)
$VHYL (-0,15%)
$TDIV (-0,72%)
$O (-0,22%)
$VPK (+0,53%)
$SHEL (+1,09%)
$ULVR (-2,36%)

It depends on how large your JnJ position is, and how your view of JnJ has changed now that the stock has risen so much.

@PoorDad thank you for commenting Poor dad!

it’s like 8% of my portfolio, exclusively the share holding $VHYL that’s big weighted in my portfolio , they have $JNJ for the last years in their top 5 and they leave it that way.

If I sell 3 stocks, I still have 80% of it beside the ETF.

I can use the money for buying cheaper stocks, holding it on the side I feel like it’s doing nothing and it’s just hard to leave it there for so long.

But selling feels like giving up on my long term hold goal. So I leave it like this, but when it reaches 65-70% I will sell 3!
