I used the long, cold weekend to take a closer look at my portfolio and actually decided to part with Metaplanet.
Finanzen Zero now also offers weekend trading, so I placed a sell order yesterday. However, it was not executed.
I haven't checked exactly, but I think that I placed the order after the official weekend trading. That wouldn't have been a problem at all, because that's how I've known Flatex for years: you can place orders there at any time and they are executed as soon as the relevant exchange is open again.
But here comes the big but: in retrospect, I decided against selling and wanted to delete the unexecuted order yesterday evening. Unfortunately, as so often happens, I fell asleep. As a result, not only the deletion of the order was lost, but also the readjustment of my savings plans at Trade Republic 🥺
Fortunately, I woke up early enough this morning (somewhere between five and six) and was able to delete the order (checked again) as not executed.
However, when I looked at the securities account again a few hours later, the sale had been executed anyway.
Theoretically, the whole thing is of course incorrect and also annoying. But I'm pretty sure that, in retrospect, I'll still be happy about this force majeure sale 🤪
And so I wish you a great start to the week 😇
