Earnings week: Who delivers - and who disappoints?

These companies from my portfolio will be reporting in the coming days:

Most interesting figures for my portfolio this week - $BAS (-0,71%)

For me, the $BAS (-0,71%) -figures are the most exciting. The big question: are we finally seeing a cyclical recovery - or will the pressure on margins persist?

The chemical sector is a classic early indicator for the industry. If demand, incoming orders or margins show the first signs of stabilization, this could be a signal for a broader economic recovery. Precisely because $BAS (-0,71%) continues to be one of the leading chemical companies in Germany, the figures are a particular priority for me.

If, on the other hand, the environment remains weak, the patience of us investors is likely to be further tested.

Of course $ALV (-0,01%) , $DTE (+0,36%) & Co. also provide important insights, but $BAS (-0,71%) is about the larger macroeconomic perspective. The overarching question remains: is the cycle turning - yes or no?

Which quarterly figures do you find most exciting this week - and why?

Quarterly figures are not at all trend-setting at the moment.
Bad figures = sell-off &
good figures = sell-off 🫣

@7Trader I understand the irony 😉 At the moment, it often seems as if both good and bad figures are initially met with a sell-off. The market is simply extremely demanding at the moment.

Nevertheless, I believe that quarterly figures are very indicative in the medium to long term. Operating trends, margin development and cash flow will prevail in the end, even if the market reacts erratically in the short term. In my opinion, we are simply in a phase where expectations are more important than results.

@DividendenPapa Yes, of course they point the way in the long term. But from a quarterly perspective, it doesn't really matter

With the exception of Fresenius, I have all of them in my portfolio and am therefore very excited.
But I'm most excited about $NVDA because the seismic waves are likely to be greatest there.

@Solitair The figures from $NVDA are likely to move the market the most. Do you have $NVDA in your portfolio or are you just curious about the figures?
