Amundi Index MSCI World ETF DR (D)

I didn't expect this, the foundation of my strategy is gone. After almost 6 years on the market and a volume of over 600 million, the $10AH goes down the drain. Merger with $MWOE (+1,01%) ...

Has anyone ever had experience with something like this? What is the best way to deal with it? Sell everything and look for a new etf? What about the tax issue?

I actually never wanted to sell it 🙂

(Background: The ETF will not be merged in a tax-neutral way and I don't feel like doing that anymore. It's a mystery to me why an ETF with a volume of 6 billion, which has been around since 2017, is being dissolved at all. This will scare away sooo many investors).

What do you think of the resolution of the $10AH ?

I am bothered by the "forced sale" in January, with full tax consideration of the gains before the new acquisition of the shares in the absorbing fund.

I'm thinking of putting everything into the $IWDA (+1,13%) which is bigger for me anyway.
