Real situation:
- I own one mutual fund in EUR focused on Clean Energy in my bank (old investment), which has dropped down by 30% since investment.
- It is due the sector performance.
- Now and in upcoming years, I believe it could go up.
- Therefore, I have decided to increase the position to original one.
- 1st Fee: As it is EUR fund, I needed to transfer money from my CZK account to my EUR account both in the same bank - FEE? 1.2%
- 2nd Fee: 3% for front-end-load !!!
- 3rd Fee: 1.5% TER in each year!
Alternative: I have bought ETF ($INRA) (-0,32%) for that money with TER 0.65% (quite high, but it is due to the focus). front-end load: 0.001%, TER acceptable. Both have the same performance now.
Very sad though.
Should I sold the rest of mutual fund and reinvest everything in that ETF or keep for a while?
