Hello everyone,
Here is my January Rewind for 2025.
My time-weighted return was 5.75%, which was a good bit better than the S&P 500, but also a good bit worse than the DAX. I would never have expected this at the beginning of the month, and it was surprising that the DAX took off like this.
According to Getquin, I was therefore better than 51% of users.
I received 5 dividends.
From Renasant $RNST (-1,4%)
From Mondelez $MDLZ (+4,45%)
From Pepsico $PEP (+3,26%)
From Agree Realty $ADC (+2,4%)
And from JPMorgan $JPM (-0,57%)
I myself am absolutely satisfied with my performance, with 5.75% a more than successful start to the year. Especially when you consider that the average return on a global ETF is around 8 or 9% a year.
How did your January go?
A recent W+ article by the "Welt" editorial team presents supposedly lucrative dividend stocks.
Here is a selection of 18 shares "with high dividends and quality":
Two from Germany also made it onto the list:
Judge for yourself and feel free to comment with your opinions.
Nevertheless, I am very sad about the developments in this forum. I would like to see more love, respect and solidarity. Instead this forum is becoming more and more a stage for self-promotion, it's just generally going in a nasty, individualistic, envious and selfish direction and so much hatefule interactions.
I'm so sad about it 🥺 and miss the good old days here.
As soon as the $BATS (-1,84%) dividend arrives I'll grab a bunch of flowers and a piece of cake with cream to comfort myself 🥹
Love love love
I would like to use my first post today to introduce my new addition to my ING custody account. Over the last few weeks, I've been adding more and more to my portfolio here at getquin and familiarizing myself with all the functions. I am very enthusiastic about the community and would now like to be an active part of it.
I didn't want to miss the chance to get in here and finally got in today.
Consumer goods stocks are all interesting at the moment, as I am working with $KHC (+3,77%) and $KO (+2,3%) but I already have 2 in my portfolio, so now today $MDLZ (+4,45%).
I have also been running a savings plan with Scalable since January on $PEP (+3,26%) running. I want to use it to collect any further corrections at a favorable price.
Thank you for your feedback and I look forward to many great conversations.
I was invested here until December. In the wake of the takeover rumors by $MDLZ (+4,45%) sold +-0. In the meantime, the share has fallen significantly again.
Do you think everything is already priced in here?
