A little over a month ago I bought Destiny Tech 100 $DXYZ a little over a month ago (very little, it's the gambling part of my portfolio😂😂) The fund has returned 255% in this period.
The Destiny Tech 100 aims to provide investors with access to growth opportunities in strategic technology fields such as artificial intelligence and space technology. Key drivers of its performance include investments in companies such as SpaceX and OpenAI, which are considered leaders in their industries.
Having only invested a test amount, I'm now wondering whether the fund is actually a safe option for larger sums. Especially because it gives access to private companies. I wonder how transparent the whole thing is. It's also not clear how well these companies will perform in the long term, especially if the market becomes volatile.
Do any of you have experience with the asset or similar? I have found almost nothing about it in the forum. I would find this fund interesting as a component of my risky part of the portfolio, especially because I see great potential in these companies.
