The reason for the jump in share price is an expanded collaboration with NVIDIA to drive the development of Cerence's AI-based vehicle technology. The companies are working together to optimize the Cerence Automotive Large Language Model (CaLLM) - a technology that enables vehicles to better respond to the driver's voice. With the support of Nvidia AI Enterprise and other technologies such as NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin, the aim is to enable faster assistance systems, improved user experiences and increased safety and privacy in vehicles. According to Cerence Vice President Nils Schanz, this partnership strengthens the company's position as a leading provider of AI solutions in the automotive sector and offers car manufacturers scalable, generative AI solutions.
