I currently have the CAVA Group $CAVA on my radar at the moment and find the company extremely exciting. CAVA is a fast-growing player in the fast-casual segment with a strong focus on healthy, Mediterranean cuisine. The comparison with Chipotle is obvious, only with hummus, falafel & bowls instead of burritos.
The rapid growth is particularly interesting, as turnover has recently risen by over 30% compared to the previous year. What's more, the company fits in perfectly with the current zeitgeist, as health and conscious eating are becoming increasingly important. The expansion strategy is also promising, as CAVA is constantly opening new locations and the potential for scaling is enormous. The successful model is not new. Chipotle has already shown that such a concept can work in the long term.
Of course, there are also risks, as the share is ambitiously valued and the competition is not sleeping. But if CAVA manages to implement its scaling efficiently, something really big could emerge here. What do you think, is CAVA the next Chipotle?
