860FIRST PURCHASE
After I increased my $VWCE (-1,18%) a few days ago, I decided to build up a small position $SNPS (-0,05%) was on my watchlist for a long time 😬 If it continues to go downhill, I will add to it 👀
unfortunately I can't see a function where I can display all my purchases at once so that I don't spam the community 😅
but with $MSFT (-0,47%)
$GOOGL (+0,01%)
$UNH (+1,83%)
$AMZN (-3,25%) I have also stocked up a bit 😬

BUYING AMAZON
$AMZN (-3,25%) is my "pick of the month".
With this market selloff, Amazon has experiencied a 15% from its hights and I'm using this oportunity to increase my position on it. I belive it is important to have positions on most of the big tech companies that are shaping the world, and between $META (-3,72%)
$GOOG (+0,11%) and $MSFT (-0,47%) , $AMZN (-3,25%) was (and still is) my smallest holding.
They are innovative, they are diversifying into different growing markets, they have a pile of cash and they are still growing strong. Their P/E, Price to cashflow and Price to books is the lowest it has been. Of course the reason for that is that Amazon is an elephant and at this point revenue growth is expected to be at arround a 10% anual, which % is not much but in absolut value is a lot, and it can explain part of the valuation adjustments.
Still, FW earnings and the company profile makes this dip an oportunity in my eyes. If the market contiunes correcting, it could keep going down, but I don't expect it to fall below 180 USD per share and I don't want to wait for the stock to go there.
I've suffered a big hit this last 2 weeks, as the correction on the hype stocks has been massive (40% loss in some of my biggest winners, still up significantlly though). I'm down about 10% from my best moment and a lot of thoughts have been going on trough my mind when I didn't sell clear overvalued stocks when I could, the US growth is under question and it the correction may not be finished. But I still beleive market is the place to be for the long therm, and that my picks are going to outperform on the long run.
In the long term, this is a no-brainer for me
The top 3 dividend payers come from the USA and the UK
And another record: in 2024, companies worldwide paid out dividends worth a total of 1.75 trillion dollars, which is 5.2% more than in the previous year.
The major US tech stocks, which previously paid out nothing at all for many years, played the leading role. Alone $META (-3,72%) Meta (Facebook ), Amazon $AMZN (-3,25%) and the Chinese online retailer Alibaba $BABA (-0,61%) were responsible for a fifth of the increase. And $MSFT (-0,47%) Microsoft once again paid the highest dividend worldwide at 22.90 billion dollars. In second place is $XOM (+1,93%) Exxon Mobil with 15.60 billion dollars and only just behind it $HSBA (-7,54%) HSBC with 15.40 billion dollars (see table).
Overall, the top group is heavily dominated by American and Chinese companies. Just under half of the increase comes from the financial sector.
Dividends are particularly important for investors who value current income. The key indicator here is the dividend yield, i.e. the payout in relation to the share price. A high percentage can be based on earnings strength and a shareholder-friendly corporate policy. However, very high dividend yields in particular are sometimes the result of falling share prices and therefore indicate a lack of confidence in the earnings power and therefore also in the medium and longer-term ability to continue to pay high dividends. Therefore, this figure alone can never be a good reason to buy.

First follow-up purchase at Amazone, caution still advised
Following the recent price declines, I bought a first small tranche of Amazon $AMZN (-3,25%) at around USD 200. Despite strong long-term growth prospects, I still see uncertainties that could put pressure on the share in the short term.
I therefore plan to add in stages in the event of further setbacks, in 10-dollar increments at USD 190, 180 and 170, should it come to that. At the same time, I remain cautious and would currently only make larger additional purchases if you have a sufficiently high cash position in order to remain flexible and be able to react well to further price falls.
How are you handling additional purchases in the current market phase? Are you waiting for lower prices or have you already taken advantage of the setbacks?

First installment at Amazon?
Mag7s in particular are correcting nicely at the moment, and I would now like to place the first tranche at $AMZN (-3,25%) now. The last Q4 figures were strong and they would be a long-term investment for me. Do you think I should wait until Friday?
(Trump's address to the nation and the FED report are still to come).
It's Time to Buy 💰
In the next 3 weeks I am going to increase my portfolio by about 2.000€ and I would like to make a couple of new purchases to keep for the long term
Among them:
$NFLX (-8,09%) As a long term growth investment taking advantage of the 8-10% drop from highs.
$AMZN (-3,25%) After selling 100% of my position at $230 I see a good opportunity after the 10-15% drop.
$VICI (-1,2%) As a value investment focused on the real estate market and with a low PE, good dividends and being a well-established company.
What other stocks do you guys have your eye on right now? 🤔
