The Saudis want to sell their oil in yuan? When you live in a region that is sitting on so much oil, you shouldn't play with fire. That could actually be a risk.

That is the case. Since 2016, this speculation has come up every now and then that a trade in yuan was being prepared. However, with the last meeting and the reconciliation with Iran, the indications of this are becoming very strong. It is also assumed that Willow was only admitted under this aspect.

@Hannes_SK The Americans will explain to the Saudis that they cannot buy air defense against the drones from Yemen with the yuan - at least none from Western production. And Iran will have other problems when Israel decides that a critical point has been reached with uranium enrichment - here, too, the USA will lean back. I think there will be blind spots in the reconnaissance in general. China will offer itself as a protective power, but there is still a lack of experience.

@KleinviehmachtMist I don't even want to think about that or come to such thoughts... In general, however, I think that a new economic union of the BRICS + Saudi Arabia + Iran could form in the near future. After all, all of them are not American friends or have already clashed in the past.

It always makes you wonder. Who are the benevolent donors for both sides?
