Yesterday I ordered my securities account transfer from Consorsbank to TradeRepublic.

A few considerations prompted me to do this.

Savings plans are free of charge (may change)

Savings plans can be executed weekly. (At Consorsbank only monthly. But you can trigger one-off payments on certain days of the month. I have not yet found out whether this is possible with TR)

the roundup and the cashback of the debit card are very interesting. Provided you consistently pay by card. But I am a person who prefers to pay small amounts in cash. Not least so that small businesses (bakeries etc.) don't have to pay the fees. I don't care about larger sums). I tried out the card today with 2 really small purchases. Together they brought 43 cents.

TR works with the Finanzguru app, but not properly with Getquin (so far), maybe there's still something going on, it's supposed to have something to do with an API. No plan.

3.25% from tomorrow 3% on the cash balance. Three times as much at ConsorsBank.

I am convinced of the concept after a lot of research on the net.

The process was really simple. I was able to apply for the transfer directly online at ConsorsBank. However, only whole items can be transferred, but that should be known.

The full units of ETFs and shares were booked out of the custody account 10 minutes after the order was sent.

The sale of the partial units was free of charge. But it took a little while.

But I also knew that thanks to the WWW.

For the time being, the sum from the parts remains in the clearing account for the advance lump sum.

Now I have to wait until the deposit has been transferred. I'm also curious to see whether the tax documents and the loss pots will be transferred.

I think everyone feels a little queasy when their securities are flying around in orbit somewhere.

I'll keep you posted on how long it took and so on.

Small additional purchases in the course of diversification

Yesterday I said goodbye to the $TDIV (+0,29 %) and part of the sale went into my position. $BTC (-1,69 %) position. This now accounts for a weighting of a good 10%.

I see crypto as a sensible addition to any portfolio. I have also recently built up a position in gold via $WGLD (+0,01 %) built up a position in gold. Both are held for the long term and are not traded speculatively.

How high is the weighting of Bitcoin in your portfolio?

I would like to expand my portfolio.

Currently my portfolio consists only of the $ISAC (+0,26 %) and $BTC (-1,69 %) (and a little $ETH (+0,03 %) ) ... approx. 70/30.

I would like to add a distributing ETF. Yes, I would also like some dividends. I'm not currently dependent on dividends, but earning a small (or large) amount from dividends in 12 years or more is definitely interesting. So the goal is rather sustainable dividend growth with new ETFs.

If the USA share is no longer like 40%, this would not bother me either, as the share is already at the $ISAC (+0,26 %) is already high.

I have the following ETFs in mind: $TDIV (+0,29 %) / $VHYL (+0,11 %) / $TSWE (+0,24 %) / $FGEQ (+0,06 %)

Whereby the USA share is again very high in the last one.

What do you think? Do you know any other good ETFs?

I would like to switch my remaining active funds (relics from earlier times) into a cheap ETF. I would be interested in your swarm knowledge for this. The investment period would be around 10-12 years - after that it is important for me to generate a "good" cash flow from it. That's why I first thought of the $VHYL (+0,11 %) - but the price performance is not that great. An alternative would be an MSCI World ETF (here the $HMWO (+0,26 %) - or is there a better distributing alternative for the index?) The $FGEQ (+0,06 %) is already being saved and I would therefore leave it out for the time being ( $TDIV (+0,29 %) and $GGRP (-0,09 %) I also had it on my radar at the time but opted for Fidelity). Therefore MSCI World or Allworld high dividend or one of your alternatives.

I noticed by chance today that my savings plan execution with Scalable for $TDIV (+0,29 %) was postponed from 19.11 to 19.12. A change was not possible, only the deletion. Today I would like to shed some light on the special tax situation of the $TDIV (+0,29 %) which result from the fact that it is a Dutch ETF.

One particularly interesting aspect becomes apparent if you have already exhausted your tax-free allowance, as the tax burden is reduced in this case due to the special structure of the ETF.

The ETF deducts a (Dutch) withholding tax of 15% on dividend payments, which may seem disadvantageous at first glance. However, this is precisely where it has a tax advantage: by offsetting this withholding tax against the domestic tax burden and the partial exemption, the effective tax burden is significantly reduced. As a result, investors have to pay less of their distributions than would be the case with comparable ETFs without withholding tax.

Helmut Jonen once wrote more specific figures on this in his story:

"As a result, the tax burden on dividend distributions is not only reduced to 18.46% due to the 30% partial exemption, but even to just 17.63%. This would bring the partial exemption down to 33.15%."
